((Runabout Iaonaiae, Southern Hemisphere, Syraya))
As the shuttle doors closed behind the aliens Avoo’na turned to Jin’Tauri.
Avoo’na: I don’t know about you, t’gon, but I find this Star Fleet much more interesting than the Pakleds.
Jin’Tauri: Interesting. Perhaps, but also more potentially dangerous. These people are competent.
Avoo'na: They might help us with our plague too.
Jin’Tauri: They might, but it might be too dangerous to ask them for help. I still don’t trust them. ::straightening up and pausing for a moment:: I want to find something more useful than pyrite and obsidian to bring back to Kamir. We’ll just wait until the aliens leave.
After fighting side-by-side with the Star Fleet, Jin'Tauri still didn't trust the aliens. It was in line with the Noram's usual stubbornness and Avoo'na knew that they weren't going to be able to change their mind.
Avoo'na: We were tasked with finding and bringing back Hranyas.
Avoo'na wasn't sure that the ships would even allow the rocks to be brought onboard, they might just be filling all available storage with Hranyas.
Jin’Tauri: I know our government just wants the Hranyas, but there is a whole world of resources here we could use. I want to personally add something important to the results of the mission.
Then again, Jin'Tauri's stubbornness would serve them well in this case. Now that they had set their mind to it, Avoo'na wasn't sure that Jin'Tauri would go back to Kamir without a rock.
Avoo’na: Alright t'gon, let's go find a better rock.
And they once again set out to scout the land.
