(( Intel Suite, USS Constitution-B ))
T'Mar: =/\= Considering the readings were coming from this floor, perhaps you can meet me outside the Intel Suite.=/\=
She said it more as a statement than a question.
Felbri: =/\= I will see you shortly. =/\=
The line closed and T’Mar took a few moments to secure her station and inform another officer where she was going so there was no confusion. She then stepped outside just in time to meet Felbri.
T’Mar: Ensign. ::she nodded towards him in acknowledgment::
Felbri: Commander T'Mar.
T’Mar: Can you tell me more about these readings?
Felbri: I was running a standard systems check of the deuterium tanks when I noticed an energy drain in the deuterium tank systems coming from this deck.
T’Mar listened, wondering what could be causing this as it wasn’t Intel. She did love a good mystery. Although she’d never let on externally.
T’Mar: And the drain is still occurring?
Felbri: Yes. It is not enough to cause a system breech but it will noticeably hamper the performance of our warp engines at faster speeds.
She took a moment to look around as if she would just see the source. But of course she didn’t.
T’Mar: In that case, we should start our sweep of the deck. ::she pointed towards the corridor:: Perhaps that way?
Felbri: I'm following you. You know this deck better than I do.
T’Mar nodded and began walking in that direction. There was no great way of doing this, but she mentally created a path for them to sweep the deck efficiently.
T'Mar: I suppose that is true. I have spent many years on this ship.
She didn't let her mind drift too far into her time away. This ship had become home and even though it wasn't logical, she hoped that she never had to leave it again.
Felbri: We should check the most energy intensive systems first. To make sure that they aren't using more power than normal.
T'Mar: There are a few spots I can think of. We can scan in the way. ::pause:: Do you have any working theories?
Felbri: There is always the possibility that it is a false reading.
T'Mar: The thought has occurred to me.
She slowed down as they approached the first juncture she had in mind.
Felbri: Response
T’Mar: If it is false, I believe we should find what is causing the false reading so this should prove fruitful either way.
Felbri: Response
T’Mar stopped when they reached their first destination. She bent down and pulled the panel out to reveal the inner workings of the ship.
T’Mar: Here we are. What are your scans showing?
Felbri: Response
As they responded, T’Mar once again looked down the corridor as if she could find the problem that way.
T’Mar: There is another spot further down if you'd like to compare the readings.
Felbri: Response
