After visiting the station he went back to his quarters to lay down a bit and then have lunch. After some time and being checking on the status of the repairs, his comm badge suddenly came to life.
Ch'Nilmani:
=/\= Ch'Nilmani to Crew. This is a yellow alert recall. All selected
crew on this transmission are activated and need to arrive at Docking
Port 22-B Section 3. Once you have boarded, find your departments,
prepare it and report your status. More details will be provided once
everyone is on board. We'll be undocking ASAP. =/\=
That was a surprise and he sat for a moment on the edge of his bed thinking about it. He quickly get to the computer and accessed the Starfleet data of Tucker station and checked that there was a ship docked there, the USS Aleek-Om, a curious name and that it was a Nova Class starship. He found that it was quite small, so the reason they'll be going out shouldn't be that big or specially relevant, so he downloaded the specs of the ship. However, the urgency of the call told him it was something that couldn't wait so he was a bit confused about the situation. Anyway, he needed to go, so he took his pesonalized PADD, an extra uniform, as he looked around, he took the glasses he made for the Paioke colony mission that he had improved with deployable ear protection adapted to his physiology.
After putting his things on a bag, he checked his quarters again before leaving them and locking the door. Then he moved to the nearest airlock to get to the Docking port the FO instructed them to go.
((Main Engineering, Deck 7, USS Aleek-Om))
As he arrived to the docking port, he saw the ship through the windows. He could see almost all of it what confirmed that it was a tiny ship in comparison wit hthe Constitution. He'd been checking the layout of the ship in his way to the ship so he managed to get to the enginering deck quickly.
When he arrived there was a few crewmen there getting the first checks done. He's glad for it and told them so before checking his credentials were uploaded and working. It seemed that Starfleet has already uploaded the change of crew so he has access to the primary systems, so he started a check of the primary systems.
Motha: Ensign Motha reporting for duty, Lieutenant. I am ready to accomplish whatever tasks you need and to complete all expected work. I just need to know how you want me to proceed and I'll have it done.
Shimisi: Hello ensign, glad to have you here. Please, start with start up protocols and the life support systems. If you end with that and everything is okay, follow with the transporter systems.
Everything being on just one deck, and an smaller one that they're used to, it was easier to keep track of everyone around. On the other side of the display racks was Leran already checking the main components of the warp engine.
Perax: Containment fields, online. Antimatter injectors, online. Main power is approaching nominal levels. Warp core is fully engaged. I think we’re ready.
Shimisi: Checking primary EPS, … there are a few sections not fully in working order. They're secondary, but keep them in mind.
PNPC: response if any
Perax: There is a ton packed tightly in this small ship. That’s going to make engineering both simpler and more difficult.
Shimisi: Simpler and more difficult. That seems like a contradiction. But I understand what you mean.
PNPC: response if any
Ch'Nilmani: =/\= Ch'Nilmani to Senior Staff. If you haven't, sound off. We're preparing to get underway. =/\=
Shimisi: =/\= Engineering here, we're doing the final checks of the systems. Lieutenant Perax confirms that warp engine seems to be working, EPS distribution systems seem fine. We have a few places out of order, but none critical. We're ready to go. I recommend not going over warp 6 at least until we can check the engines a few minutes while at work. =/\=
Ch'Nilmani/Rajel: Response
Shimisi: =/\= We don't know this ship, it should work, but if we have to stress it's systems, I prefer doing it step by step. =/\=
After all, pushing an untested engine could lead to damage or even broke and leave them stranded.

As they're about to get underway, he knew they need someone on the bridge. Leran has showed that he's reliable, hard working and able to work out problems, so he was a good candidate to go there or be left in charge of this.
Shimisi: Leran, since you have checked warp systems and I'm on main EPS, one of us should be on the bridge at least for the moment. Would you like to go or your prefer to stay here?
Perax: Response
