(( Isolation ward ))
He looked to Kalin and gestured to the door before turning and
moving over to Ba'el. He refrained from tapping her shoulder, not
wanting to risk a Klingon Death grip because he surprised her.
Malyz: Hey Ba'el? ::lowering his voice:: Are you aware that Maiman
is one of the affected crewmembers?
Ba'el: :Blinks in surprise:: No, I was not aware ::looks to
Maiman, and now notices the subtle differences in appearance:: She
didn't look as regressed as the others.
That would explain it. With everything that had happened it was
not surprising that something got lost along the way.
Malyz: ::nodding:: Yeah. Not as much as some of them, but with the
way the memoryloss progresses, she may not be able to use her
abilites. It could hurt Indrid's brain instead. You know all
scrambled eggs.
Ba'el: ::Looking crestfallen:: You're right of course. I was a
fool for not seeing it sooner.
Malyz: It was a good idea, though. ::he considered.:: Have you
thought about showing him his personal logs? Maybe that can
jumpstart something?
Ba'el: ::Considers that for a moment:: The EMH is already using
physical objects to try and improve memory recall. I'll suggest he
try having Indrid view sections of his personal logs as well.
Ozameen nodded, that was a good idea. Of course it was, Mark was
super smart.
Terpes: Excuse me… I’m not sure I can help you,… my brother told
me that you can help me… help us…
He turned to Maiman in unison with Ba'el.
Ba’el: Well, I can certainly try.
Terpes: What should I do?
Ba’el: Well, Why don't you come with me. We'll set up a space to
work in and see what we can do.
Malyz: You do that. I'll check on the others.
He offered a smile to Maiman and nodded to Ba'el before stepping
aside letting them do their thing. He looked around to check on
who had been brought already, seeing that Georgio had already done
a good job and some others had come on their own. He noticed that
one of the 'children' was alone and moved over. It took him a
moment to compare the face with the list he had read before.
Yito: Are you a doctor? Can you help me? I’m looking for my
brothers and my father. Our freight ship must be near. The
Nansen, Captain Bjorn Thorson. I can’t remember where? I’m having
problems with my memories.
Malyz: Hi there. Seja, isn't it?
Yito: Response
Malyz: I don't know if you remember me. I'm Oz. You are looking
for your family?
Yito: Response
Ozameen nodded and gestured to one of the biobeds. He wanted to
calm her down and make her less scared - something that she
extruded through basically every mental channel.
Malyz: How about we sit down together and talk for a moment? I can
check the computer if we have any information on where they are?
Yito: Response
