(( USS Constitution-B – Saloon ))

Blaine had finished his shift on the bridge, had gone home and managed to get a sonic shower and clean up. As tired as he was, he did not feel like staying home. This ship was so new to him that he could not help but feel just a bit lost. Constitution, like her Galaxy-Class sisters were considered older technology, but you couldn’t prove it by what he saw on the ship. They were right when they said these ships were mobile starbases, but this one felt even more special.

The Vulcan/Human hybrid pulled a green pearl snap shirt and starched blue jeans out of his closet and dressed. Sitting down on his couch, he pulled a pair of polished tan cowboy boots on before grabbing his favorite leather jacket and heading out. Usually, he would explore until he got lost and see if he could make it back to his quarters on his own, but this time, he wanted to see this saloon that he had heard so much about. Grinning, he saw the swinging doors that symbolized every saloon in every Western ever. He pushed the doors open and stood to the side of the door to take in the ambiance before sliding up to the bar and sitting down on a stool. His eyes were locked on the spiral staircase.

McCray spun on the bar stool and just took in the ambiance. This place reminded Blaine of the Eklund Hotel in Clayton, New Mexico and the museums he had seen growing up in the Texas Panhandle, and it instantly made him feel at home.

Blaine visibly relaxed as he watched the place’s movements and listened to the music.

McCray: I think Starfleet knew what they were doing when they put me here.

Anyone: Response
