Ensign Maramox - (backlog) Motion

The other Ensign was easy to talk with. Maramox felt comforted by the presence of someone they felt had an equal amount of nerves as they did. Eze didn’t seem to share their inability to find conversation though.
Eze: No, not yet. I’m keen to meet my new roommate, though. I hope we get along. It’ll be a long cruise if we don’t.
He looked… Not displeased but also not exactly punch-like about the idea of sharing a room.
Maramox: Yeah? Getting randomly assigned a roommate is a little funny. My roommate is Ensign Mec. We haven’t talked much.
Eze: Not had the chance? Or are they not the talkative type?
Maramox: I get the idea that he doesn’t like me.
There’s a faint voice in the back of Maramox’ mind that quietly giggles to itself “Do you like wrenches?”. Maramox tries to shove the faint voice of their past social pas to the recesses of their mind.
Eze: Well I’m sure it has nothing to do with you, you’re a delight to talk to.
Eze grinned over to Maramox and nudged their shoulder. They nudged back and smiled.
Maramox: Am I? Why aren’t I lucky. Someone vouching for me after such little conversation.
Eze: We’ve all got something in common here, even if it is just our work. There’ll be plenty of time for you two to get to know each-other. And if they’re a lousy roommate, hey, you’ve got a friend in security.
He winked over to Maramox; who though they wanted to understand an implication – missed it by a mile. The way Eze moved took too much of their attention.
Eze: Maybe you’re got some shared interest. What does Doctor Maramox do to unwind?
Maramox: Tonight, why don’t we agree to unwind with some dancing? Made the most of the music.
They took a few quick steps away from their fellow Ensign and moved their hands in what some might call a dance – but most would call a motion. Inviting with the moves of the music (this was not highly recommended).
(OOC - just wanting to tie up this sim! Apologies for taking so long to get back! I should be back to regular simming now! Yay!)
