LtJG Ellie Park- Intrusive Thoughts taking Over (backsim)

(OOC- Just a short little backsim because I really wanted to add insight to poor Ellie’s distress)

Nugra: I have seen quite a few terrifying things, Lieutenant, but do you know what the scariest thing I have ever seen? It's not the destruction of ships or the blood of battle. Not even a star consumed by a supernova. What is scary to me :: Nugra lowered his voice:: is when Commodore Rajel loses her temper. I would rather face the Dominion on my own than anger her.
Her pupils dilated and she leaned in, lowering her voice as well even though Rajel was nowhere near them to overhear. This was the first she had heard anything of the sort about her new CO and now she was more than a little concerned.
Park: You’re saying the Commodore is a tiny, Trill, terror?! I thought she was supposed to be one of the nicer COs!
Nugra: It would behoove you to remember that. The mother ursidae is not one to get between her and her crew.
Park: So what you’re saying is… no shenanigans?
Nugra: No. Do not get caught doing the shenanigans.
Ellie pouted, playfully. She looked up at the Gorn who was quite literally a foot taller than her.
Park: You’re taking all the fun out of my job you know.
Nugra: Ask around, Lieutenant Park. Many will tell you that it is in my job description.
Park: ::hesitantly:: In all seriousness, Mr. Nugra, is Commodore Rajel someone I need to be worried about?
Nugra grinned, which didn’t particularly help the situation. Although to be fair a Gorn grinning was still somewhat unnerving to Ellie despite her poking fun at him throughout his time in Sickbay. And then… he just walked out.
Ellie stood there, mouth dropping open, stunned. He was joking. ..Right? Definitely had to be joking. There was no way that the Trill in charge of this ship scared a Gorn! But.. the alternative was that the Gorn was joking with her and that seemed just as unlikely.
Absentmindedly, she started straightening up and went to a desk to log Nugra’s physical.
Patient completed routine physical. Appears to be a healthy Gorn male, although there were noted signs of trauma consistent with past treatments/serious illnesses noted in the patient’s record. Patient does appear to have a history of reckless behavior and has been recommended counseling. No current signs of inability to perform position duties. Patient has been told of responsibility to return for regular check ups.
Ellie frowned, Nugra’s comment about Rajel still sticking in her mind. Leave it to a spook to get into her head! Was she going to have to behave and stay in line now?
Park: oO Patient has a seriously sick sense of humor Oo
Sighing, she submitted the notes for the CMO to review and approve and considered if looking at Rajel’s medical record would help her understand if there was a history of violent outbursts...
