(( Sick bay ))
As a hologram Georgio had an advantage. He never got sick. He was
photon and energy and all that stuff he didn't understand. If
anything was wrong with him engineering would check on it, but he
never needed Sick bay. Well, this advantage was also a
disadvantage. Because it was really difficult to pretend to be
sick just to see his totally not boyfriend Mark. Did that stop him
from showing up unannounced and randomly? Of course not, he was
Georgio. He just couldn't use that excuse.
With a brief thought he materialized in the middle of Sick Bay
after he found out through the computer that Mark was here and
looked around. Seeing the blonde baby blue eyed Hologram Georgio
smiled brightly.
Georgio: Cupcake! There you are.
Mark: Hey there!
Being met with a bright smile like this from Mark warmed Georgio's
holographic heart. However being in Sick Bay meant he was still
working, didn't it?
Georgio: Don't tell me you are still working. I heard the
announcement for shore leave.
Mark: Maaaaybe… I was just… tidying up.
The wide eyes and the blush was all the answer he needed and he
cocked his head at the answer, in a way as if to ask 'oh
really?'.
Mark: I can go off duty, were you think of anything?
The flamboyant hologram ran a hand through his light blue hair,
which perfectly fit to the light blue floor long skirt fully
covered in sequins, while the one pink strand of his bangs fit
with the pink glitter shirt spelling out 'Photonically awesome' on
the front.
Georgio: Well I heard we are at some shipyards and I have never
seen any, soooooo ...
Mark: They’re yards… with ships…
Georgio: Explore with me! Pleeeeeease!
Mark: Sure?
Georgio: ::smiling brightly:: Fabulous!
Mark: But – but – where do you want to go?
Georgio: I heard someone talk about a colourful and bright place
full of games that sounds just fascinating. And also of a place
that is full of sparkly crystals, if that first place turns out to
loud, cupcake.
Games sounded fun, right? Right. People liked games. Georgio had
never actually played any.
Mark: Really? ::he narrowed his eyes at Georgio, as if he was
trying to discern a true motive. But like everything else with
Georgio Mark soon figured his friend (or was that boyfriend?) was
just making it up as he went along.:: If we go there I should
change out of my uniform.
Georgio smiled brightly and clapped his hands in delight, making
him look a bit like a humanification of a seal.
Georgio: Fantastic. I'll wait here!
He stood aside to be out of the way and watched as Mark finished
tidying up. When he changed from the uniform into slacks and
sweater with a collared shirt that smile on Georgio's lips grew
wider.
Mark: How’s that?
Georgio: Wonderful: You look very handsome.
He really was. Georgio still remembered how many difficulties Mark
had in the beginning to choose a style that he liked enough to
even try and now he had a really great spread of outfits that all
felt like Mark.
Mark: Ok, I’m off duty! Lead the way!
Georgio grinned and hooked his arm into Mark's. He know that Mark
preferred walking to just zapping around the place, so he lead him
out of Sick bay towards a turbolift to access the station via the
docking ring.
(( Tucker Station, Promenade ))
Some people said that if you saw one station you knew them all.
However Georgio didn't know this one at all. It was very different
from Starbase 104. It was smaller, there were less people trying
to push their way through the promenade and the choices of
establishments were fewer. At least from what he could see. There
was a cafe over there, an ice cream parlour, a few restaurants. As
they moved along the promenade Georgio noticed something else too.
Georgio: It's more quiet... less flashy advertisements and boards
with offerings.
Mark: Response
Georgio: That game room should be here somewhere. ::He meant
Arcade, but had forgotten the term. All he remembered was games.
As they kept walking a grin showed on their face.:: Oh look
Karaoke! Can you sing, cupcake?
Mark: Response
Georgio: I never tried, maybe I can... maybe I can't. ::he
chuckled::
