L'Tang: [AFTER WE BECAME STUCK IN THE RIFT ALL WE CARED ABOUT WAS LEAVING THE RIFT. WE REALIGNED WHAT DILITHIUM WE HAD SO THAT WE COULD CREATE A WORMHOLE EFFECT IN TANDEM WITH USING THE HYPERWARP DRIVE TO ESCAPE.]

Zheng: The one with the many eyes has decreased power.

Aurdax: [THE GOOD NEWS IS YOU MADE IT OUT OF THE RIFT. BUT THE BAD NEWS IS SOMEHOW IT PHASE-SHIFTED ANY SURVIVING MEMBERS OF YOUR CREW]

L'Tang: Yes. Yes. But how many survived? 

They'd already lost some of their crew and the only thing L'Tang could think to blame that on was poor engineering. He had worked on the original designs, how could he have not seen that there was a problem? 

Aurdax: [AN OFFICER NAMED LIEUTENANT JG BARB BYRNES HAS MADE CONTACT WITH OUR COMMANDER AND APPARENTLY YOUR CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER IS TRYING TO TALK TO OUR CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER. MEANWHILE WE'RE TRYING TO GET A BETTER CONNECTION WITH YOU. I’M GOING TO CONTACT THEM AND STOP MONITORING THIS PADD.]

The Denobulan set the PADD down.

Zheng: Seems more and more like they are telling the truth. 

L'Tang: So it would seem.

((Timeskip))

Lavin watched the team work, from what he could gather it seemed that they really were working on a way to get them back in the correct phase. 

Byrnes: Hey Lieutenant. 

L'Tang turned to see Byrnes walking straight through the wall. He smiled for what seemed like the first time in days. 

L’Tang: Hey Lieutenant yourself. You really are alive! 

Byrnes: I'm going around the ship to collect the Icarus crew. They are working on getting us back into our phase down in Sick Bay.

L’Tang: Seems to be what they are working on here too. 

Byrnes: From what I understood they are making good headway, so can you head down too? And if you see anyone on the way, grab them and take them with you? I still have a few decks to get through.

L’Tang: ::nodding:: We'll make our way there.

((Timeskip))

L'Tang waited with the rest of the Icarus crew out in the hallway near the sickbay. He hated not knowing what was going on with the dephasing tests but there was barely enough room for them in the hallway; there was no way that they'd all be able to fit in the sickbay. So he just had to wait, until suddenly he was dematerializing and re-materialised inside what appeared to be a cargo bay with the rest of the Icarus crew.

He spotted Frank and Barb in the crowd and made his way over to them.

L'Tang: We are over a hundred years in the future huh?

Byrnes/Montanari: response

Dr. Aurdax had said that it was the year 2403.

L'Tang: With any luck my little sister might still be alive. Though she'd be around 160 years old by now. Not so little anymore.
