His black eyes wandered over the crowd in the holodeck. It was
sparkling and shining, people seemed to have fun and he could feel
it too, even without digging into their emotions. It was like a
warm breeze on a beach. As his eyes fell on a dancing pair he
smiled, however when the song ended he pushed himself off the bar
and moved up to Ellie and Lystra to swoop in.
Malyz: Ladies, would you mind if I borrow Ellie for a dance?
Lystra: Hey, Oz! I don’t mind if she doesn’t. Just as long as I
get at least one more dance.
Park: Of course!
Malyz: If you don't mind of course. ::He grinned to Ellie.::
Park: I don’t mind! Just… you two have seen me dance, right?
Lystra: I’m not surprised you’re so popular, Ellie. It’s only
fair.
Malyz: Exactly. Ellie was my proctor for both my exams, it would
be just fair.
Park: You two flatter me, but ::looking at Lystra:: if you truly
don’t mind, I’d love to celebrate with him.
Lystra: You two have fun. I’m going to go see how Mark liked his
first dance!
Oz saw the sparkle in her eyes when she looked at Lystra and
smirked slightly.
Park: Great! See you later!
Oz nodded to Lystra before turning his attention to Ellie. Taking
her hand into his he started to sway gently with the music.
Park: I really am so happy for you, Oz!
Malyz: I am happy too. It was a lot of work to get here and you
encouraging me helped me over the finish line.
His black eyes rested on hers as he lead her, gently and slowly,
the rhythm of the music did invite them to take it slow. Did she
feel nervous? Was that was he was feeling? He wasn't sure really
but it still made him smile. As the music built up she stepped
closer to him and Oz slipped his arm around her waist. With his
hand on her back he continued the little imaginary circle he was
leading them along.
Park: For the record, I wasn’t joking.
Malyz: About?
Park: My dancing skills. Or, rather, lack thereof.
Malyz: ::leaning in he lowered his voice.:: I don't know what you
are talking about, Ellie. You have been doing just fine.
Seeing her flush amused Oz, the giggle surprised him though.
Park: Well if I step on your feet and hurt you, at least both of
us are fully qualified to treat it?
Malyz: Maybe I'll carry it with me as battle wounds. ::he winked
at her.::
Park: Response
His eyes wandered over Ellie, her outfit, the mask the way her
eyes sparkled with the reflection of the projected stars. He
returned his attention to them.
Malyz: You look breathtaking tonight.
Park: Response
Malyz: Why thank you, I liked it the moment I saw it in the
database. How could I ignore the sparkly call. Glad I didn't go
with the plain suit, Georgio would have been disappointed in me.
::He smirked.::
Park: Response
Malyz: Tell me, Ellie. Would your girlfriend mind if I kidnap you
for a dinner sometime, just us two. Of course if you would accept
my invitation.
Park: Response
