N'bel could hear the sounds of others talking in the background on  the screen, but maintained his focus on what Commodore Rajel was saying. 

N'bel: =/\= That will be greatly appreciated Commodore.  My damage control parties are ready to come over. Hopefully we can help fix all the damage we caused. =/\=

Rajel: =/\= Some damages may be a bit too big to do right away but we will head to the Ship Yards for the big repairs after we leave here. If your team can help with the more imminent repairs that would be great. Thank you N'bel. =/\=

N'Bel: =/\= As I said, it's the least we could do under the circumstances. Did you recieve the data we sent you regarding the Nebula? =/\=

Rajel: =/\= I will send the information you sent me to my Science people. The make up of this nebula is different from what we have encountered before, so having your insight will be invaluable for us. =/\= 

N'Bel: =/\= I'm glad it will be of help. Is there anything else? =/\=

The channel closed. N'bel, feeling satisfied with himself, leaned back in his chair for a moment before turning to Ta'an.

N'bel: There, you see? Not so bad as we thought eh?

Ta'an: Respond

N'bel stood and stretched a moment. Then turned and walked across the bridge towards the exit.

N'bel: Hah! Always with you there must be something more my kin! ::stops at the exit:: And that is why You are so good at your job. And, with some more tempering, you will forge your own captaincy one day.

Ta'an: Respond

N'bel: I am going to seek refreshment, then start preparing a report for our leaders. You have the bridge until I return Ta'an, try not to blow anything up while I am gone eh?

N'bel gave a hearty laugh as he left the bridge.
