Kano: Sir, although I've not found the source of the jamming signal its definitely not coming from the planet. It's got to be from the Ya-Grhan ship.

 

Any: ?

 

Duyzer: Any sign of a response from the Ya-Grhan already?

 

Horn: No sir.  Nothing to indicate they are sending anything out on any band.


 

Duyzer: Is there even a way to confirm they got our message, then?

 

Any: ?

 

Duyzer: ?

 

Kano: I still cant get communications with the planet. ::She looked back at the console.:: the jamming signal is definitely coming from the Ya-Grhan ship. ::pausing:: it looks like as they phase closer to normal space, the jamming signal is getting stronger.

 

Colquhoun: It appears they’ve started some sort of phase shift, they might be decloaking if I’m reading this right.  Let’s stay ready.

 

Colquhoun: Sir, we’ve officially got company.

 

Duyzer: ?


 

Duyzer: ?

 

Colquhoun: Outer shields holding at 70%.  Looks like disruptor pulse fire.

 

Horn: Inner shields weren't touched.  If they act as expected, it'll be enough to keep us from being boarded.  :: He didn't want to raise any hopes, but Ryan was fairly certain he was closing in on the phase they'd decloaked from. :: 


 

Kano: The Ya-Grhan have attacked us.

 

G’Renn: Are they in range for visual contact yet?

 

Colquhoun: They’re within viewing range, sir.

 

Duyzer: ?

 

Colquhoun: Aye aye, sir.  ::his fingers flicked around the console::

Kano: By the prophets that's…

 

 

Colquhoun: Outer shields at 50%... based on the data they’re not firing a full volley.  Might be testing our defenses. They’re within weapons range.

 

Duyzer: ?

 

Horn: Compensating on shields.  Repair crews are en route. 

 

Colquhoun: I’d suggest we prepare for boarders, sir.  The way this goes, shields aren’t going to hold much longer.


 

Duyzer/Any: ?

 

Colquhoun: Aye aye, sir.  Firing forward phasers.

::Risha smiled, oOFinally.Oo The golden beam blasted from the Columbia's forward phaser banks struck the enemy but there was little to no effect on the shields.::


 

Colquhoun: Enemy’s shields are holding, I’m unable to assess how much damage that did.

oO Just how powerful are they? Oo

::She wondered, reading the data readout her console was receiving. It was right there was barely information on the enemy shields, it was almost as if they were jamming all data signals not just communications.::

oO But wouldnt something like that be impossible? Oo

::She almost started to speak but was interrupted by the commander.::

 

Duyzer: ?

 

Horn: Sensors are showing.. wait.. What…

::Risha couldn't believe what she was seeing. She hoped that it was some kind of illusion, she looked around the room and gauged the reactions, which was pretty much the same as hers.::

 
Kano: Prophets help us...

::She actually didnt realise she spoke out load. On the view screen that monstrous drill began spinning. The ship seemed to position itself to the position that they were really wishing it wasnt going to do.::

Kano: Its going to ram us.

Any: ?

Kano: Yes sir, I'll lead the breach defence team.

::This was the moment shed been waiting for, to show how serious she was to protect the ship and crew.::

Kano: ::Tapping her com-badge:: =/\= defence teams report to deck 12. =/\=

::She glanced at the lieutenant.::

Colquhoun: Good luck, ensign.

::The ship rocked again as another volley of weapons fire hit the ship. The console that Risha had just stepped away from sparked. She was glad she had move when she had done.::

oO It seems the prophets are looking out for me today. Oo

::She headed to the turbolift and gave the bridge one last look. She was definitely leaving it in good hands the bridge crew really knew what they where going. She smiled as the doors slid closed and she heading down to deck 12.::

((Minutes later. Deck 12.))

::The doors hissed open and the ship rocked again, the force throwing her into the bulkhead, it seemed the Ya-Grhan had increased their attacks.::

::She quickly meet up with other members of the breach defence team, each one was chosen for their skills with a phaser. Plus they were also the assigned security crew so they pretty go where they are told to. She equipped herself with a phaser and a phaser rifle, she was glad the Columbia had the latest and best weapons. She held the phaser rifle to her shoulder and looked down, it felt like an extension on herself.::

::The team assembled and Kano addressed them.::

Kano: Okay. So we have two breach points this deck and deck 13. We shall split into two teams Alpha and Beta. Alpha will protect this deck at the predicted boarding point. Beta the same point at deck 13. Computer simulations predict that the more breached area is deck 12 so I'll lead that team. We stay in communications at all times. No exceptions. And no unnecessary risks.

::She felt like an idiot, she was telling them not to take risks but all she wanted to do was take risks. She already had a plan, it was stupid and she was pretty sure the commander wouldnt let her do it but if all else failed, she'd have it to fall back on.::

Kano: =/\=Defence teams in position at the breach points predicted. We are all good to activate the security fields. =/\=

Kano: =/\= Yes sir, no one will get past us.=/\=

::She smiled, holding the rifle close to her. She meant it, she wasnt going to let anyone get past her, she had faith in the skills of those around her, the skills of the whole crew and in herself.::
