to UFOP: StarBase 118: USS Columbia
((Holodeck 1, Columbia))
((Timestamp: 1 day before Columbia arrives at Safe Harbour))
::Risha stood outside the holodeck, the hours of pouring over what little information they had, it was all finally here. The rest of the assigned team joined her and they entered.::
::Stepping through the door way she was taken back by the sight of the Columbia, her sleek elegant design the shimmer of her hull against the glow from the warp necelles. She also noticed the monstrosity at the other side of the room, completely different in feel and looks compared to the Columbia, it almost sent a shiver down her spine.::
Serinus: Welcome one and all. Who would like to start?
Una: ?
Kano: This is...::she looked around, still not believing how detailed it was.::... you designed it? Amazing.
Colquhoun: ?
Duyzer:?

Serinus: You are correct, a demonstration is in order. My mistake. ::He walked closer to his guests, and further from the ships.::
Serinus: Computer, reset scenario, bring up command station at my location, ::A touch screen monitor appeared in front of the Security Officer. Behind him, a high backed, cherrywood chair upholstered in black, in which he promptly sat:: and theatre seating for my guests. :: Behind his guests, a dozen red velvet seats, appropriate for a twentieth century movie theatre faded into existence.:: Engage tutorial mode. ::Between himself, and the others a screen materialized. On the left side of the screen was what was on his monitor. The right half of the screen showed the positions of his hands.::
Serinus: ::typed away at the monitor, as the screen before the others displayed where his hands went. On the left side, the push buttons became grayed out while they were being pressed.:: I had to make more modifications than I had originally expected. Switching off supply was easy, morale had to be modified, shields added. Additionally, I had to combine great chunks of the naval and aerial combat routines. ::break:: As you see, the top of the user display gives a map of the area. In larger scale battles, unit selection is important, but I have turned it off for this one on one space battle. Instead, shuttles and the like can be commanded from this first menu here.::
Una: ?
Kano: So this can be used as a real time combat session? A full on tactical approach? Is driving by person commands or can it be automated?
::She was amazed at what the Ensign had created here. She was actually in awe, he definitely had some skills to have programmed something as complex as this, she also felt a little jealous too.::
Colquhoun: ?
Duyzer:?

Serinus: Excellent questions. ::He continued to type:: I will answer them all shortly.
Serinus: ?
Una:
Kano: If that's right then. ::She walked around the ships looking at them:: By each of us being the Ya-Grhan and the Columbia the computer should be able to compute the best type of counter defense. Am I right?
