It didn’t take long before Is’Kah and Callahan had entered the bridge and went over the procedures.

Is’Kah: That’s how you run the basic phaser diagnostics.

Callahan: Yes, sir. I think I have it.

Is’Kah: Good, because I’d prefer not to have you do it twice.

The other officer grimaced and nodded, letting Is’Kah know that he wasn’t that pleased to have to do the inspections. Yet, that was the point of discipline like this.

Callahan: I’ll be sure to check with Commander T’Ama about her phaser as well.

Is’Kah: Good. I did notice one thing was missing. I placed two Type IIIC Phaser Rifles here, along with four Photon Missile Launcher Attachments for Type II phasers.

Callahan: Response

The hybrid had a pained look behind zhen eyes.

Is’Kah: Ensign, let’s just say I’m paranoid. It’s for a rainy day that hopefully will never be needed. Please include in your report if those two pieces of gear are missing from the lockers near sensitive areas, like Sickbay, Engineering, Operations Center, and others.

Nodding to Callahan, Is’Kah left the bridge to return to zhen office.
