At that precise moment, Crewman Ravesa arrived to take the Engineering station. Lael nodded and stepped aside to allow the woman at it. She then turned her attention toward the center of the Bridge.

Rosek: Sir, ma’am. With your permission I’d like to return to Engineering to debrief Lieutenant Lephi regarding the device.

Mei’konda: Mmh.  Unfortunaately, she is likely still in Sickbay.  You’d best check there first, Commander.

Rosek: ::arches her eyebrows:: Oh. Is she all right?

Mei’konda: She will be.  The deviice in question emitted a powerful sonic pulse while she was nearby and in an enclosed spaace.  It damaged her ears, as well as Commander Raga’s.  Most of the team is receiving treaatment now.

She nodded. Medical treatment for injuries was always a first priority. But there was nothing wrong with checking in on her right-hand. Besides, the teams had things well under control.

Rosek: Understood, sir. ::to Serala:: By your leave, ma’am?

Serala: Response

With that, she turned on her heel and headed toward the turbolift. Once inside, she gave the command that would take her to deck 10. While this hadn’t been the most eventful mission of her career, it had certainly proven interesting. From what she knew, the former Atlantis crew had a propensity for getting themselves into explosive situations. It seemed Lephi was no different.

A wry, unamused grin twisted Lael’s lips. The young Ferengi would certainly fit right in. She only hoped it wouldn’t become a habit. She got enough of that when Chythar was around.

When Lael entered, she found Lephi and Snow off to one side, seemingly lost in a conversation of a more personal nature. She caught snippets due to her sensitive hearing, but did he best to ignore them. Not wanting to seem like she was eavesdropping, she cleared her throat rather loudly to announce her presence.

Snow/Lephi: Responses

Rosek: I apologize for interrupting. I heard our beloved Assistant Chief Engineer had a nasty run in with something on the surface and wanted to check in.

Snow/Lephi: Responses

Rosek: If you can spare her for a moment, maybe a word in one of the private rooms that isn’t currently occupied?
