(( The Brig, Crashed Ship Site, Mountains, Ah’rak IV ))

Edrei: Probably fair to say she escaped? ::pause:: We maybe should barricade that door.

Is'Kah: It is not safe. Let’s check the other doors on the way out.

Koyama: Agreed – lead the way.

Is’Kah stepped out and Lee slowly followed with Koyama.

Is'Kah: Honestly, the first place I’d look for escapees is right next door. Let’s open that one.

Lee didn't really get what was happening, but she heard T'Ama's voice, which brought her much needed relief.

T’Ama: Fyrshii… ::pointing the gun down:: So you did escape. How?

Is'Kah: Once we heard the gun shot, we attacked by a group coming in for some reason, never did find out exactly why. After a small battle, we escaped, but I wasn't gentle with our self-defense. One of them might have been critically wounded.

Koyama: ::Dryly:: It was two on three, and they had guns.

Edrei: T'Ama! You're okay!

T’Ama: So now all of you are injured?

Is'Kah: It happens when you use part of the ship as a shield. We ran out of time to plan.

Edrei: At least we escaped.

There was a chirp, and Lee was so happy to hear that noise. It meant T'Ama had managed to get one of their commbadges.

T’Ama: =/\= T’Ama to Serala. There’s no more time. You guys need to get in here now. The brig escape was loud and three are injured. We have to move, but we aren’t moving fast. =/\=

Serala: =/\= Understood, Commander. We’ve got a plan. We’ll be sending a rescue party in about two days. They should arrive onsite about ten minutes after that. And don’t worry, I won’t be going with them. We don’t want a Romulan stirring the pot, now do we? Anyway, hang in there. It should be over soon. =/\=

T’Ama: =/\= Thanks. =/\=

T’Ama: Okay we need to get away from the populated areas of this ship. Is’Kah and Koyama, you work together on point, I’ll take up the rear and carry Lee.

Is'Kah: Roger, Commander.

They moved toward her.

Edrei: Thanks for helping me.

T’Ama: Here, take the rifle. And everyone try your best not to actually shoot the guns. They are so loud and they’ll bring everyone down on us.

Is'Kah: We are familiar with their sounds.

Koyama: They probably make good clubs though.

Edrei: If I hear them one more time, my head will definitely explode.

T’Ama: ::firmly:: My point is, only fire them as a last resort.

T’Ama hefted Lee over her shoulder in a fireman's carry.

T’Ama: Sorry you don’t get the princess treatment.

Lee wanted to eye her but that was difficult to do in her position.

Edrei: You really want me to barf on you.

She was actually pretty grateful. It didn't help her nausea, that was true, but at least they moved faster and she didn't have to focus on remembering how to walk. She tried to look at where they were going, but that was awkward in her position and she was still seeing in blur.

Is'Kah: Clear.

It wasn’t long until they came upon a T intersection.

Is'Kah: Commander, which direction?

T’Ama: Left.

Is'Kah: On the count of three, we’ll clear the hallway. Ready?

Koyama: Ready.

T’Ama: Ready. One… two… th-

She couldn't finish her sentence as a very loud booming noise resonated within the ship. She could feel it didn't come from the ship, but the shock was massive enough that it rattled and broke some parts of it.

The sound was probably the worst - deafening, eardrums fighting hard for their existence. Lee had wished earlier not to hear a gun's noise again. She was seriously taking back that statement - anything but the noise that made her wish she was deaf. With her bound arm and her position over T'Ama's shoulder, she couldn't even cover both her ears as her first instinct told her to. She felt T'Ama under her slip and fall into the wall, but she didn't let her go.

T’Ama: What the hell was that?!?

T'Ama eased her down in a sitting position and she immediately emptied her stomach on the side. Though it momentarily helped her nausea, it did nothing for the overwhelming pain, and Lee was doing her best not to black out.

Is'Kah: Whatever it was…

Another sudden noise resonated, making her head spin and black spots appear in her vision. This time, she felt a few tears roll down her cheeks. She was so over it. She just wanted some good painkillers and a bed. Not those terorrists, that explosion/earthquake and whatever other joke that would come after that. What she wouldn't give for her medkit at that moment...

T’Ama: We do appear to be still alive at least. And not buried in rubble. Or burned.

Is'Kah: Thank Hades for the small things.

Koyama: ::flexing her jaw and trying to recenter herself:: Mawp? :: Pause:: Ok.. No, we are fine it seems, alive. Mostly.

Edrei: Not sure how I feel about that right now.

And because that somehow still wasn't enough, another noise started. It was a different kind of noise though - not a loud or aggressive one, but rather a creepy one that was definitely coming from the ship this time. It still wasn't great to hear, but Lee preferred it to the previous ones - she was pretty sure they'd all lost some audition, so it wasn't even like she was hearing it full force, in a way. Small victories.

T’Ama: I’m so over this place.

Is'Kah: Agreed.

Koyama: What in the…? Ok, whatever that is is NOT helping.

Is'Kah: If there were anyone around the corner, they’d know we’re here.

She carefully leaned her head on the wall and closed her eyes. The world was still spinning too much. She heard Is'Kah and probably Koyama walk to said corner.

Edrei: Or they're also in bad shape.

Which wouldn't be surprising, given the violence of the event.

T’Ama: response

Is'Kah: Commander, do we know where we’re going?

T’Ama: response

Is'Kah: I see. Ma’am, since we have been communicating with the captain, is it possible to use the combadge as a locator beacon for them to track us down despite the interference, or to have the badge beep when we are walking towards the other away team? I believe there is, but I'm not thinking clear enough to remember.

T’Ama: response

Koyama: If I had my tools I could boost it. Not sure about now though. Maybe with a hairclip, but I’d need to short the power and it wouldn’t be the safest maneuver. Fry the badge too.

She regained a little attention at that. Possibly say bye to their only way to communicate with the rescue team and get out of there fast? There was NO WAY.

Edrei: Please, please, PLEASE don't fry the badge.

T’Ama/Is'Kah: Response

The noise was still building, and Lee could feel the vibrations in her body against the hull. It was becoming pretty annoying.

Koyama: Please tell me I’m not the only one hearing that? It…. It's so… Sad. Can ships even be sad?

To say Lee couldn't care less about the ship's possible feelings was an understatement.

Edrei: Well, tough. Just wanna get out of here.

She almost wished they would knock her out at this point. She would be way more comfortable. She was pretty sure T'Ama would do it if she asked her.

T’Ama/Is'Kah: Response

The noise was continuing, louder and louder, and Lee started to feel ill-at-ease (at least, more than she currently was). It felt like the atmosphere was changing to something more dangerous - the ship itself being the reason why.

Edrei: Okay, too creepy for me.

T'Ama/Is'Kah/Koyama: Response

Edrei: Can't we just retrace our steps?

T'Ama/Is'Kah/Koyama: Response

She ended up over T'Ama's shoulder again, and they finally started moving toward what Lee hoped would be the exit pretty soon.

Around them and throughout the whole ship, the vibrations intensified, and there was some clanking further into the corridor, probably some panels that fell because of the creepy "song". She even felt like the floor moved a little, though she couldn't be sure, as she diudn't have her feet on the ground. At this rate, she feared the whole ship would end up collapsing. She simply hoped they wouldn't be there anymore when it happened.

Edrei: Crap. It's really starting to break apart, isn't it?

T'Ama/Is'Kah/Koyama: Response
