Edrei: Awesome. If you have the time to hit the gym one more time every week, you can. But no pressure, your plan already keeps you in pretty good shape.
Shivara: Understood. :: she paused then looked at her new supervisor :: Well, if that’s all then, doctor, when would you like me to start, and where?
Edrei: We can get to this in a minute, sorry. There's one last thing I need to clear with you. What's your diet like?
She still had S'Rorr's in mind and wanted to make sure she didn't have to check her new intern's taurine plasma levels, too.
Shivara: Hmm. I’m not overly picky with my food. Generally, I like to stick to those foods I grew up with, but I’ve tried some other foods that I’ve been told are okay for me. I’m not overly fond of vegetables, though. Tends to cause :: beat :: issues.
She nodded. At least one Caitian whose diet she didn't have to worry about, at least.
Edrei: That makes sense. You're supposed to mainly eat animal products. ::pause:: If you haven't yet, you can try zucchini. They'll get you the fibers you need.
Shivara: I’ll keep that in mind. Oh, and I should mention that my eyesight has a tendency to be overly sensitive to bright lights which gets worse the more fatigued I get. Not enough to affect my performance, but it has a tendency to create headaches which I usually treat with a mild analgesic.
Lee frowned. She wasn't worried about her performance, but suffering from a headache with photosensitivity wasn't how you wanted to spend your day for sure.
Edrei: That's rough. Would it help if we dimmed the lights a little in Sickbay? ::glancing at the lights:: they're awfully bright anyway.
Shivara: Response
Edrei: Tell me if it gets any worse and we'll figure something else out. Anything else?
Shivara: Response
She leaned back in her chair and put down the PADD.
Edrei: I think we're set, then. So tell me, where do you want to work?
Shivara: Response
Edrei: ::shrugging:: No use of putting you to work in something you don't like. So if there's cases in particular you want to see or something you want to learn and it's possible, I'll assign you there.
