Glancing at the time while zha sat at zhen desk, Is’Kah noted it was almost time for Alpha shift to arrive for their day’s tasks. The hybrid’s muscles were sore, a reminder that zha had pushed zhenself properly, but still was careful not to overdo it as zha had in the last year of the Academy.
Checking zhen messages, there was a moment’s relief that there wasn’t a fire to put out, yet, meaning zha had time to complete a meeting that zha had been trying to squeeze in. After checking the duty roster, Is’Kah hit her commbadge.

Seleya: =/\= Seleya here, Lieutenant. =/\=
Is’Kah: =/\= Lieutenant, would you come by my office before you start your shift for a casual conversation? =/\=
There was a pause that told Is’Kah that she didn’t believe that it would be casual.

Returning zhen focus to zhen monitor, the hybrid started reading the wreck that zhen inbox had become overnight. Such was the life of any administrator, mounds of PADD work followed by moments of terror.
It wasn’t long before Seleya rang the chime, soliciting Is’Kah’s standing and confirming the entry. The junior officer came in and stood at attention.
Seleya: You wanted to see me, Lieutenant?
Getting to the seat, Is’Kah took zhen own.
Is’Kah: Thank you for coming, Lieutenant. Please take a seat. How is your recovery going?
Seleya: I am doing well, glad to be back on duty.
Is'Kah: That is fortunate.
Seleya: What did you want to talk about, Lieutenant?
The hybrid folded zhen hands on the edge of the desk. Is’Kah briefly considered the best way to approach the topic before deciding to be direct.
Is’Kah: I’ve noticed that you were uncomfortable around loud noises, and then you were affected the most by the sonic boom when the ship was flown into the atmosphere. Does your species have any audio sensitivities I should be aware of?
Seleya: Response
Is’Kah: I understand that you think it isn’t an issue, but if I were to take out a blow horn and use it right now, are you going to collapse and become incapacitated from it? There are dozens of what-ifs running through my mind right now of how to use your sensitivity against you tactically.
Seleya: Response
Is’Kah: I’m not worried about the known unknowns and your ability to prepare for them. The issue is with the unknown unknowns, as shown by Ensign Callahan’s flying.
