Lee was pacing in front of the holodeck's doors. She had invited Aine to an adventure but the woman hadn't been the most enthusiastic, especially when Lee told her it happened in a more or less historical seetting and had sent costume ideas her way. So she wasn't exactly sure that she would show up, but still hoped so. It seemed like they all needed some good downtime recently, Lee included, and she tried to provide.
She walked to a nearby screen in the corridor and tried to re-arrange her outfit to pass the time. She'd looked at a lot of inspiration to choose her own and settled on some black short trousers that ended right above her black high boots, completed by a (also black, but this time with red streaks) long coat that reached her knees. Under the coat, she wore a light reddish shirt. She went as far as getting fake tattoos on her arms and her collarbone. She took one last look, put on her hat with colourful feathers on it, checked the sword at her hip and turned when she heard steps in the corridor. She grinned when she saw it was the person she was waiting for.
Edrei: You came!
Sherlock: Yup. I'm here.
She held back her enthusiasm as best she could.
Edrei: You look great! Show me with the hat on?
Sherlock: I don't want to wear the hat.
Edrei: But it's part of the outfit! You can't just not wear it.
Sherlock: ::frustratingly:: Fine. ::she abruptly put on the large hat of the costume:: I'll wear the damn hat.
She appraised Sherlock's look and grinned.
Edrei: That looks awesome. Thanks for playing the part! You'll see, it's gonna be so much fun.
Sherlock: Response
She led her inside the holodeck and the program she prepared. They appeared on a beach, with a big blue sky and some wonderful surroundings, from the white sand stretch to the various coconut trees around. There was a dock on their right, leading to some little shops and a ship on its end. On there left was a forest and a cliff, on top of which there were a few building you could access thanks to some stairs. She knew from her setting up the program that the biggest one was the island's tavern, but she hadn't explored the rest.
Edrei: Sooooo, I maybe went deep into a rabbithole recently. Do you know about pirates?
After Mac made her discover old movies, she had kept the habit of starting the movie theater program in the holodeck almost every week. This time, she found this great movie where a woman ends up on a pirate ship with some handsome man that came to rescue her, and she may have binge watched the following movies. What she basically took away from the movie is that you always needed a sword, and rum. Lots of rum. She then took inspiration from all the old entertainment about pirates, which was a lot.

Edrei: Yeah, you got the gist of it. So this is ::pointing to the end of the dock:: our ship, and we're basically free to do whatever we want with it. ::she started walking around, excited:: We can go on a treasure hunt for a bunch of gold, help the merchants and deliver some rhum to lonely people on some islands, fight some angry skeletons, or even just fight other people sailing the seas and steal their treasures. Whatever appeals to you the most.
