((Risa, Nuvia, Waterfront Streets))

Seleya: Have you thought about fake plants? No need to maintain and could make your place look more cozy.

T’Ama: If I went with fake plants I may as well go with holographic plants.

Seleya hummed. While she disagreed with the Commander, to each their own. She took one last look at the stained-glass planet, admitting the artistry was expertly done. If she had her own quarters, she might consider it, but for now, she placed it back on the shelf.

Seleya: Could also get something strange and random, make it a conversation starter for anyone entering your quarters.

T’Ama: If I had a strange and wondrous thing it would need a story to go with it.

Koyama: You two find anything?

T’Ama: No…

Seleya: Not really.

Koyama: Well, we could look somewhere else. I'm sure there's a plant store somewhere around here. And If you find a planter you like I might know someone who can get you something to put in it.

T'Ama: You got a plant guy?

Seleya: I know of no plant guys, unless we were on Taithros.

Koyama: Oh! Are you going to keep the jacket Seleya? If the fits nice we might be able to dye it.

Seleya looked down at the jacket. She had mostly forgotten Koyama had gotten it from the shop. Still unsure how to politely decline, she figured there would be no harm in keeping it.

Seleya: I will keep it. Though forgive me, the Risian weather is a bit warm for it to be suitable at this time.

Seleya removed the jacket as they stepped back out into the Risian streets, tying the arms of the jacket around her waist.

Risian Man: Can I interest you ladies in some locally made Risian goods? Jewelry, bags…. Horga’hn?

Seleya tilted her head as she examined the Risian man, shaking her head to his question before looking to the other two.

T’Ama: I think we’re in the market for plants and clothes…

Koyama: response

Risian Man: Oh, yes! Plenty of those too. All hand made by Risian artisans! It’s just right this way..

T’Ama: Oh, yeah, let’s follow this random guy down an alley…

This was Risa, so the chances of something bad happening were low, even if the man was acting slightly strange. Normally, Seleya would still be hesitant to follow any stranger down an alley, even on a Federation world. At best, they would be led to a shop selling cheap tourist trinkets. At worst, he might try to cause them harm. Seleya was confident in her own skills, and if they refused, he might simply move on to someone else. Perhaps it was best to investigate to ensure no one else would fall victim.

Seleya: Why not?

Koyama/T’Ama: response

The Risian man led them down the alleyway, turning onto the back streets that ran behind the shops, out of sight of the tourist crowds. Once there, he reached under his apron, pulled out a disruptor, and quickly turned to point it at the three of them.

Risian Man: Don’t scream, and don’t resist. It will be much easier for all of you if you cooperate.

Seleya raised an eyebrow as she examined the man. His hand was shaking slightly, probably from nerves, and his stance was sloppy, more than likely, he had no real training. She figured she could easily disarm him. He was standing a bit too close for his own advantage, probably trying to intimidate our group. She then turned to T’Ama, who she knew was likely capable of handling the situation as well. She hadn’t seen Koyama’s abilities yet, so she couldn’t judge at this time.

Seleya: Commander, would you like to handle this or should I?

Koyama/T’Ama: Response

Risian Man: What are you talking about!? I’m not joking here!

The Risian man seemed confused. They didn’t appear to be panicking, unlike most of the other victims he probably dealt with. He pressed the disruptor forward, as if trying to intimidate them, but that only made him easier to disarm.

Still Seleya barely paid him mind as she discussed with T’Ama.

Seleya: I wouldn’t want to be rude, if you were wanting to handle it.

Koyama/T’Ama: Response
