Xiron was still adjusting back to the ship’s time. Her race’s lack of a
day-night cycle made them uniquely suited to working in space. What had been more challenging was getting
back into the ship’s routine. She had been working on Kolkata time for much of
the last few months.
Now on her 13th hour of work she just wanted to jump back into the never-ending labors of Engineering. Glancing at the chronometer on her PADD she confirmed it was indeed morning and she was due to meet new officers that had reported on during her absence.
She got up from her desk and made her way across Main
Engineering to Conference Room A.
Xiron: Good morning
Koyama/Grallator: Response
Xiron: It is good to finally meet you.
She after a moment of thought offered her hand to the human officer. Not remembering the Bolian greeting she went ahead and offered him her and also.

Xiron: How has your shore leave been so far? These pleasure planets are something else.
Koyama/Grallator: Response
Ghee’looth looked down at her PADD.
Xiron: Well, it seems you two have been taking good care of the ship.
Koyama/Grallator: Response
Ghee’looth walked over to the replicator on the wall and ordered a rakktajino and took a seat at the conference table.
Xiron: So, before we get into the nuts and bolts of the Engineering Task List why don’t you tell me a little about yourselves? What made you want to be an Engineer? Why Starfleet? If that is too intrusive, we can just start with something more practical and talk about what field of Engineering you specialized in.
