(( A "Trusty" Diner, Carbon Creek, Pennsylvania, Earth ))
The diner was worn, and smelled of the decades of spilled coffees, greasy meals, and even ancient tobacco smoke. But it was the oldest business still in operation in the town, revived in the 2160s in the same building it once operated in after rumors spread of an even earlier first contact with Vulcans than 2063 in Carbon Creek.
When they sat down and observed the menus, she registered confusion at the name of the diner.
Ada: It's a regional dialect thing. They use quotation marks when they mean to use Italics. The family that opened the place had the surname Trusty. It doesn't exactly instill confidence, does it?
Azura sat across the Formica-topped table from Seleya, the admittedly intimidating Tactical/Security officer, and S'Rorr, her new tennis rival. She sipped at the coffee, brewed just right for a diner: drip coffee with too hot of water and a roast on the beans that could could be described charitably as "extra-dark." It even tasted like it had been left on the hot plate for a couple hours. Perfection.

Ada: ::finishing another sip of coffee:: Mm. It's been so long since I've had the chance to get out in the wilderness, and I've been feeling nostalgic about this region lately. I'm glad you both agreed to join!
Seleya/S'Rorr: ?
Ada: No, but ever since I first saw the Poconos, I knew I wanted to backpack in the region. Just never got around to it. And Carbon Creek isn't too far from the Poconos, so here we are preparing to ascend White Dial on a winding path to the top.
