Is’Kah followed Ada onto the roof, landing seconds behind her. The idea of looking like a cool pop star went out the window when Is’Kah landed hard, collapsed to the ground, and was pulled along a few steps. The hybrid's inexperience was showing, pain flashing through zhen's knees to remind zhen of the fact.
After retracting the shoot, Is’Kah posed next to Ada, posing as YMO's "Ki Mini Mune Kyun" played from the other officer’s suit. All eyes were upon the two women as they removed their required gear, Is’Kah doing a hair flip after removing zhen helmet. It wasn’t long before zha was showing off zhen black outfit.
Ada: Ready for our shots?
Is’Kah nodded as a bartender came out and kissed Ada on the cheek.
Ada: Thank you, Emiko. This was perfect. May I have a shot of tequila, and a shot of chocolate for my friend?
Emiko: You must be Is'Kah! What an arrival.
The hybrid bowed slightly in greetings.
Is'Kah: Hajimemashite*.
Emiko: Kochirakoso**.
The hybrid noted Ada glancing around during zhen conversation
Is'Kah: Thank you for your hospitality for letting us put on a show.
Emiko: I am grateful Azura reached out to me. How could I say no? Now OWL is the nightclub where people skydive into the rooftop bar.
Ada: Sounds like a win-win. Emiko, may I have a shot of a local whiskey, and a shot of chocolate for my semi-Vulcan friend here?
When their shots appeared, Is’Kah noted that zhens was a brand of chocolate designed for Vulcan shots. Picking up the zhen drink, the hybrid raised it before clinking it against Ada’s, while a wide grin spread.
Is'Kah: Kanpai***!
Zha threw it back, the sweetness almost overloading Is’Kah’s taste buds. Setting the shot glass down, the hybrid gave a little head shake, as if she had downed 190 proof.
Ada: Emiko, may I have a seltzer with lemon and Caitian mint oil, 2 shots?
Emiko nodded.
Is'Kah: May I have an umeshu chūhai?
After Emiko went to make their drinks, Is’Kah turned to Ada as she spoke.
Ada: You took that shot like a champ. You're going to drink me under the table, aren't you?
Is'Kah: Oh, I’m not allowed to drink that much. Story for later. What about you? When you’re not discovering new things, do you visit a lot of clubs?
Noting that Ada was taking a drink, Is’Kah sampled the umeshu chūhai. The flavor was exactly what zhen was looking for.
Ada: No, I don't go out dancing much. How many drinks do you need before you're ready to dance?
Is’Kah smelt a Talaxian a few steps before he arrived. Flashing a fake smile at the man as he approached, the hybrid took him in.
Talaxian man: Whatever it is; I'm buying, ladies.
Ada: Uh, I just got this drink, thank you.
Is'Kah: I’ve also just started this drink, thank you.
Zha smiled at him, hoping that he’d get the hint and disappear. Alas, that was not the case.
Talaxian man: ::Eyes moving between them, his voice sheepish:: Forgive me if this is an invasive question but... ::his eyes rested on Is'Kah finally:: are you Ocampan?
It took several long moments for Is’Kah’s brain to process the question fully. Zha looked at Ada, zhen face asking did he really asked that before zha looked at the man again. It was like the man didn’t see the spots and that the zhen ears were a completely different shape. There was a lot that the petite woman could say in response, but zha went for simple instead.
Is'Kah: No. I’m Vulcan and Trill.
Talaxian / Ada: Response
Is'Kah: Oh, well, thank you, but I’m not looking for anything tonight. However, my friend here ::places hand on Ada’s arm:: is looking for company.
Talaxian / Ada: Response
Is'Kah: The two of you should bust a move. I’ll watch your drink, Azura.
Zha winked at Ada, the corner of zhen mouth twitching up slightly in a smirk.
Ada: Response
