Lieutenant Commander Cadfael Peters: Familiar Hair

Cadfael made his way into sickbay after just dropping off his bag in his quarters. He felt perfectly fine, except for the brace that was still on his left hand from the earlier break sustained on the Juneau. However, as much as he hated the rules that all new transfers needed both onboard medical and psyciatric clearance, he felt in a way almost grateful for them to be in existence. He thought briefly about how horrible it would be to come aboard somewhere new and be diagnosed with something terminal from the shuttle ride over. As he pushed the thought from his head, he caught sight of a familiar head of ginger hair, from the back at least.

 

Peters: oO It can’t be… maybe it is…? Oo :: Clearing his throat nervously. :: Ishka?

 

Journs: Response

 

Peters: Hey, doc! It’s been a while. Haven’t seen you since the Embassy.

 

Journs: Response

 

Peters: Yeah...long story, but the short answer is that I transferred a few weeks later. Here now, new helmsman.

 

Journs: Response

 

Cadfael nodded and made his way to the indicated biobed, hopping up onto it and extending his braced left wrist. He left the chip with his records on it in his pocket for the moment, to be procured if anyone asked. 

 

Peters: Dr. Indobri treated it before I left the Juneau. Sustained a few hairline fractures.
