Lieutenant Is’Kah Xiron - Tea Time?

Sitting in zhen office, Is’Kah was reviewing the transfer paddwork for zhen department in preparation for the move to the USS Valkyrie when zha came across a list of new arrivals. After briefly wondering why they were not sent directly to the new ship, the petite hybrid started reviewing each service record.
Was the hybrid paranoid? Probably, but after multiple violent events in a row, Is’Kah preferred to be safe instead of being sorry. Taking the zhen cup, zha realized that zha had finished drinking the tea. Making more, zha set up a Vulcan tea set, including setting the cast-iron water pot over a burner.
Looking at the first name, Is’Kah decided to work zhen way down the list, starting with a new doctor. He had focused on genetics, something that zha would soon call upon to help with IVF.

Returning to the service record review, Is’Kah waited for the Ensign’s arrival. When the door chimed, Is’Kah stood, all 145 cm of zhen.

The office was sparsely decorated, with a holophoto of an Andorian woman and Is’Kah in ceremonial garb next to the terminal. The hybrid had golden fair skin with brown hair, shaved from the part line down on the left side of zhen head, showing off zhen Trill spots. In zhen upper left ear was a clear bar to keep the holes open while on duty.
Is’Kah: Greetings, Ensign. I am Lieutenant Is’Kah Xiron, Chief of Tactical and Security. I use Zha/Zhen pronouns, but she/her are also acceptable. I am also married to the acting Chief Engineer, so please call me Is'Kah instead Lieutenant Xiron to help prevent any confusion between us.

Zha gestured to the stand on zhen desk that held loose-leaf tea with a fresh cup ready to accept the flavored leaf water.
