((Main Shuttlebay, USS Juneau, Mynok Spring Concerns))
Reynolds: There's one last award to present.
German turned to look over where the admiral was. It looked like whatever was going on seemed to be unexpected due to the Bajoran captain’s curious expression. He took a sip of his drink and was hoping to leave soon when he saw someone through the bottom of his glass as it was emptied. He brought down the glass and tried to make sense of who that was because German thought they looked familiar.
It must’ve been one of those times when someone had that casual looking face that most likely it was just someone in the crowd. A bag in the wind. German glanced back to the two people up in front of the room.
Reynolds: The simple fact is that this project wouldn't exist without the intellect, dedication and courage of Captain Oddas Aria. From its foundation in her discoveries of additional subspace layers, to commanding the test flight of the USS Juneau in the face of sabotage and assault, she has been a driving force, pushing back the boundaries of our technology, knowledge and understanding. We are more than we were, and it's thanks to Captain Oddas. ::She paused for a brief moment.:: It's for this reason I am honoured to present her with the Distinguished Service Ribbon.
Oddas: Thank you, Sir.
Reynolds: Congratulations, Captain. ::Her eyebrows quirked up, warmth on her freckled features.:: And very well done.
Oddas: This is very unexpected. I truly have no words.
There was some more banter between Quinn and Aria which made German want to get another drink. He saw a replicator not too far from where he was and started to head over when the figure he saw earlier was closer than before. He noticed they had a mustache, but their brunette colored hair was seen as a few strands fell out of place. With how the light hit their forehead just right, there seemed to be an all too familiar scar.
German had a feeling who it was. He smirked as he tried to get closer, but was momentarily distracted by a crewman acting like a server handing out drinks they must’ve replicated. He wanted to get to the mysterious person so he just grabbed whatever glass of something which finally made the crewman move.
Once he was finally able to get back on course, the mustached figure wasn’t in the same place as before. He turned his head left and right as he walked slower trying to lurk about, narrowing his eyes trying to get a better glimpse in the large crowd when a barrier prevented him from going any further. He looked around, but then lowered his head to reveal a Krisosian.
Rahman: Response
Galven: Oh hey, Rosh.. Dr… Captain Rahman. ::sounds like ramen:: Congratulations on your special award.
Still trying to look for the mystery person, he finally just kind of gave up with a defeated sigh and took a drink, focusing his attention back to his former captain.
Rahman: Response
Galven ::shakes his head:: No, there was someone I thought I knew. They kind of just disappeared though. ::chuckles:: Don’t worry though. I doubt it’s another “not Xerix” I have to save you from.
Rahman: Response
Galven: How’s the Veritas these days? I remember since it’s so full of tetryon radiation that it takes forever for any kind of messages and news to get out. ::takes a heavy sip::
Rahman: Response
