Lieutenant Maddi Hyden: Starfleet Doesn't Condone Murder

Teller:  Actually...this gives me a *great* idea.  Where's that mine?

 

Neathler: Probably still on the ground floor, let's get this guy down shall we?

 

The ship lurched again as they dragged the semi-conscious saboteur to his feet.  

 

Teller:  Be a shame if he slipped on the way down...

 

Hyden: I mean if he did where would we get our information from though I’ll be honest it would make me laugh.

 

With no regard to the safety of the prisoner, they haphazardly made their way down to flat ground which was a bad thing for the prisoner as he just fell with a thud to the floor. Maddi had pretty much just let them rough him around. He had ruined a lot on the ship so Maddi didn’t care as much now.

 

Neathler: Here goes.

 

Teller:  Excellent, looks like the explosive element is intact...powerful little sucker too.  If this thing had gone off near a power conduit, it could've taken out the entire deck.  

 

Maddi could tell Teller was enjoying this a bit too much which worried her, but she would leave that alone for the current time. 

 

Hyden: Let’s not destroy the ship any more than it already has been. I’m not sure that the Captain would approve of that. 

 

Rahman/Kelrod: Response

 

Neathler: What do we do with this guy? ::Knowing the brig was non existent on the unfinished ship.:: Lock him up in the smallest room of the ship and toss away the key?

 

Teller was working quickly with the device. He had a way with his hands when it came to dismantling he was certainly skilled she had to admit.

 

Teller:  Since I'm pretty sure the smallest room on this boat is my quarters, I'm voting no on that one.  ::The ship rocked again, the unmistakable impact of weapons fire vibrating through the deck:: In fact, I've got the perfect spot in mind for this guy.  

 

 

Hyden: Well I’m sure the warp core would be a viable option if we were cold-blooded killers. What did you have in mind Teller?

 

Rahman/Kelrod: Response

 

Maddi gave him a confused look as he moved to the opposite side of the compartment. She had no idea what he was up to but it was bound to be interesting.

 

Teller:  Don't worry, I removed the data storage array - it's in my toolkit.  But I thought it would be downright rude to send the fella home empty handed, especially after all the gifts the Orions have left aboard the ship.  

 

Maddi had a bad feeling about what was happening, but she had a duty and if Teller broke protocol she would enact her authority. As Teller began to sing a chill ran up Maddi’s spine something didn’t sit right with her.

 

Teller:  No more, no more, to go to sea no more....I made up me mind that I was inclined to go to sea no moreee....

 

Maddi began to watch the monitor change and could see another ship with the unmistakable silhouette of a Romulan Warbird angling in towards the Orion Cruiser, weapons raining down upon the Orion shields.  

 

Teller:  Come all you bold sea fairing men and listen to me song....When you go big boating boys I'd have you not go wrong....You take my tip when you come off your ship and you're walkin on the shore, take a drink and have a think and go to sea no more.

 

Maddi saw the explosion of the Orion ship and her heart dropped. Teller had just needlessly   signed the Bajorans death warrant without remorse and it looked like he enjoyed what he did and that didn’t fly at all.

 

oO A Cold Blooded Murderer...Is he any better than that Bajoran. Oo

 

Maddi watched Teller smile as he had just committed an act of unprovoked murder. The prisoner may have caused problems, but it was not Teller’s place to be judge jury and executioner.

 

Teller  Used the powercell to give the mine a little extra oomph.  Never been a great shot with these anyway. ::He stretched his neck and shoulders, the stress of the day finally dissipating.::  Well...I don't know about any of you, but it's been one hell of a morning. I'm going to go get a cup of coffee and see if there's still an engine room aboard this crate.

 

Maddi saw Teller leaving the computer core and knew what she had to do with her hand on her phaser she sprinted out of the room and caught up Teller blocking his path.

 

Hyden: I’m sorry Commander, but in all good consciousness I cannot permit you to go any further.

 

Teller: Response

 

Hyden: Commander Teller I hereby place you under arrest on the suspicion of breaking Starfleet Regulation 49.09. You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence. Do you understand?

 

Teller: Response


Maddi kept her eyes locked to Tellers with her hand ready to draw her phaser at a moment's notice should Teller resist the orders.
