OOC: I hope this is okay y’all.  If not, smack me.

IC:

((Writer’s Room, USS OEB))

Koryan saw people come and go.  Sometimes, they came and they went and he never saw them again.  Usually that was because the people in question transferred to another installation.  Occasionally, the people in question died in the line of duty.  However, the latter was, thankfully, not as often as it could be and he was happy to keep it that way.

The last mission had been crazy. Like everyone else, he’d experienced a number of hallucinations, but unlike others, he didn’t talk about them.  Nope.  Those were his scars and secrets to bear, and he wasn’t prepared to share anything with anyone.  As the days passed, though, he heard plenty from others.  Even with Stendhal, Salo, and other counsellors on the ship, somehow, Koryan had become sort of an honourary counsellor - which wasn’t surprising to him at all.  Sometimes, a good drink and a friendly ear was all that someone needed.

One such person just departed the bar and made his way out.  Others remained, though they sat at the various tables.  As one exited, another entered, followed close beyond by two more.  From the look of things, they hadn’t come together, they just happened to be aiming for the same place at the same time.  Lifting his chin in greeting, he called to all of them.

Koryan: Come on in.  Care for a drink?

Loq’Yinn/Maxwell: Response

The seats at the bar itself were empty, leaving plenty of room if they decided they wanted to linger.  It didn’t matter, as long as they were satisfied, but he never minded when someone decided to remain and converse.

Koryan: What can I get you three?

Loq’Yinn/Maxwell: Response

Right, he’d heard about the strangeness of the two minds joined into one, but still had two bodies.  Koryan couldn’t wrap his brain around it, but fortunately he didn’t really have to.  He’d serve them just as he served anyone else.

Koryan: Have you met?

He motioned between Loq’Yinn’s two bodies and Maxwell.  He hadn’t seen them in there together before, though he also recognised they hadn’t exactly come together either.
