Lt.(jg) Dr. Toz: The pressure is off. Sorta.

 Okay, computer. Begin personal log. Star date 240109.02 

We’ve only got a few patients left. Head Nurse Miash and NA Wing seem to be getting along. They’re working together like sisters. Well, like some sisters. Dr. Jania Nis was showing her expertise, too. Nice gal, I think she’s fitting in quite well. I haven’t had the chance to meet her yet but that will come, I’m sure. Her treatment of the radiation patients was spot on. 

Nurse Bing has asked for a transfer to a permanent station. DS9 or 118 and she even asked if she could be stationed on a planet. I get the impression she simply wants off of a starship. She was an excellent nurse until all this hallucination stuff started. Can’t say I blame her. I did see a couple of things that startled me. Me! The one that lived most of my life with a Klingon that was teaching me strange things. Father always said if I couldn’t be scared of a surprise, I’d never be afraid of surprises. 

He got that right.

Barney Nilsen is still in sickbay. I’m not sure what to do with him. He’s not a member of the Butler and the crew of the Dow - now back in phase - doesn’t seem to know him. Starfleet changes crew so often that I don’t doubt it. 

Computer, pause recording. 

Toz sat back in her chair pondering the issue. What was she going to do with Nilsen? Standing, moving around her desk slowly, Toz picked up a padd hoping something would come to her that included making notes in Nilsen’s chart. 

Toz: ::out loud:: Jeez, I’m just going to call him Barney. Every time I say Nilsen, I think Llandon. 

Barney was sleeping. His features were relaxed as if he were a child again. Toz returned to her desk and continued her log.

Computer, resume recording personal log. Same star date. 

Okay, computer, here we go again. A complement of 9 nurses with one doctor is in shuttle bay 2 tending to all those that were un-phased and brought back into the living. We’re going on shore leave now. I want to clear sickbay of all patients by 1800 hours. I think every piece of medical equipment was utilized over the past 24 hours. Inventory needs to be re-supplied and that will require a thorough list of items including medicines. 

Computer, end log. I’m tired.
