(( Observation Lounge, Deck 1, USS Octavia E. Butler ))

Kimonzi was getting sick and tired of dealing with Zet. Their ads, their inability to think beyond their own myopic self interest, their ads, their invasive software, and…their ads. It was even worse when one tried to insist that something existed that didn’t.

Lahl: Queen? There’s no queens here.

Varik: He might be referring to the ship's captain.

If he was, Kimonzi was more than willing to disabuse him of that notion.

Possibly with percussive maintenance.

Rouiancet: (disdainful) You don't look familiar to me, not at all.

Oh good, Kimonzi wasn’t the only person that didn’t know who the hell they were talking to. She always did feel bad if someone was left out.

Dius: Response

Varik: I arrived not too long before you all.

The new…ish…ensign had stepped away from what was potentially the line of fire, but it appeared that this “Toal’dius” wasn’t happy about that.

Dius: Responses

Lahl: Whoa. Let’s not get hasty.

Varik: (stopping, palms out; a shrug) You did say step further into the room.

Rouiancet: You have no leverage here. Make no mistake, you are under our power, but you will be treated well and subject to due process. But, again, what are you doing on my ship?

Kimonzi looked over at Captain Rouiancet as she was speaking, but as she did so, the Captain signaled for her to go to the Engineering Station. Clearly Captain Rouiancet was hoping she had something up her sleeve.

She made her way over, hopefully outside of this…she didn’t want to say deformed and be derogatory, but he did look weird…Zet’s field of vision. She also tried to keep quiet as she did so.

Varik/Dius: Responses

Rouiancet: Then I see no reason not to have you escorted to the brig posthaste, unless--

Kimonzi had made her way to the Engineering Station by the time Captain Rouiancet had apparently decided that tackling this…gentleman…was the right course of action. Didn’t they have security personnel that they brought with them?

Lahl: Captain?!

Varik/Dius: Responses

There was a lot of scuffling as the Zet and Lia grappled with each other. This was certainly the most dramatic thing that she had seen from the Captain so far, and it was absolutely wild.

Lahl: By the Caves…

There wasn’t much she could do, physically, due to her stature, so she turned her attention back to the Engineering Station to see what she could use there to break up the fight.

Varik/Dius/Rouiancet: Response

She had to punch through a metric crap ton of various and sundry advertisements before she could get to the meat of the situation.

Lahl: Don’t you guys every get tired of ads?

Varik/Dius/Rouiancet: Response

However, once she cleared them out, she did not like what she saw.

Lahl: You locked in the autopilot? Are you mad? Did you check the calculations? We could run into a random star or other gravitational field!

No one seemed too impressed about that.

Varik/Dius/Rouiancet: Response
