((Operations Centre, Deck 6, U.S.S. Octavia E. Butler.))

Kimonzi was looking over the code that she had prepared for their previous attempt. They were trying something new, but they were going to need to tweak it.

Lahl: We would just need to change a couple things from the previous attempt.

Arlill: Which things? ::beat::

Before she could say what the change was, Commander Arlill’s console chimed at them.

Arlill: :: redirecting :: Ok, we have our new resources. They may not be as fast, but they’re available.

O’Reilly: Good, I’ll isolate this console, pointing to one nearby, and red phone link it to the shu… ::beat:: resources.

Forsyth: Response

Lahl was about to respond when the console chirped again. Toxin looked and apparently came to a decision.

Arlill: Ok ::beat, thinking for a moment:: we know the risk ::long beat, placing his hand on his chin:: do it.

Lahl: Aye sir.

Forsyth: Response

Arlill: Do we still need to get into the tubes?

O’Reilly: The link to the resources will be limited, I’m not sure we can do everything from this console.

That was unfortunate. Kimonzi didn’t like the climbing, and she’d been neglecting her rock climbing workouts recently.

Lahl: Guess we’ll be climbing.

Forsyth: Response

Arlill: Agreed, we go in. With the door sensors overridden, we should be invisible. I don't want us to split up ::looking at Alex and Kimonzi:: Thomas, you stay here and man ops.

O’Reilly: Yes sir.

Arlill: I hope neither of you are afraid of the dark.

Lahl squared her shoulders, ready for whatever they found in the shuttle bay.

Lahl: Not for a while sir.

Forsyth: Response

Arlill: I’ll take point ::bending down and crawling in::

Kimonzi followed after him, groaning as she entered the Jeffries Tube.

Lahl: How big are decks again?

Forsyth/Arlill: Response

((Shuttle bay, Deck 6, U.S.S. Octavia E. Butler))

Lahl followed Commander Arlill out of the Jeffries tube into the Shuttle Bay after what seemed like five miles of climbing.

Lahl: Damn, that took forever.

Forsyth/Arlill: Response

Kimonzi nodded as she walked to one of the shuttles. Hopefully they would be isolated enough to put a plan into action.

Lahl: Let’s get coding. So, routine diagnostic trojan horse, yeah?

Forsyth/Arlill: Response
