((I-Dorf Kiyoria, I-Kiyo Dyson Ring))

Lahl: I believe that would be under your name sir, no?

Herrick: Quite right, I’m Lieutenant Josh Herrick, from the USS Octavia E Butler.

Za’ch’ar’y 96: Ah, yes, Lieutenant Josh Herrick, with two guests for the Wedding Suite?

The young Trill raised both of her eyebrows at the comment Lahl, the symbiont, was no stranger to polyamory, as Kehda was found of multiple people at various times throughout her life, she was not in any position to be experimenting with that at the present moment.

Richards: ::smirking:: Oh?

Lahl: ::half whispering to herself:: That doesn’t sound right.

Za’ch’ar’y 96: Yes, Lieutenant Josh Herrick, Lieutenant Anton Richards, and Ensign Kimonzi Lahl, all for the nicest suite in the hotel. ::cheerfully, hoping to provide the best service possible::

Kimonzi wasn’t keen on them knowing her name already, but she figured Herrick had provided at least her name when he accepted the I-Kiyo’s offer of setting them up here.

Herrick: And… we each get our own beds? oO We’re not here to consummate anything… Oo

Za’ch’ar’y 96: The Wedding Suite occupies the entirety of the top floor of the hotel.

Herrick: The whole floor?!?

Richards: That’s what I thought I heard.

Lahl: Holy moly.

Lahl walked with Herrick and Richards to the elevator taking them to their accommodations. As she entered the elevator, she took up a position to the side, leaning against the wall with her foot braced behind her. She looked to her right as the door opened, following the other two officers out.

As she did so, she breathed in deeply as she looked around. The “room,” for lack of a better term, was best described as opulent. There were waterfalls around the walls of the room and flowers on just about every flat surface that she could see. She could also see near the doors to the individual rooms pegs for robes and jackets, with a blue robe with red flowers in what seemed like silk in her preferred measurements for such robes.

Herrick: I don’t think the president would get this type of treatment. I wonder what they expect of us.

Tr’ac’i 42: You would do well learning how to be discreet in public. You were gathering too much attention. Strangers at the public works department, aliens no less. (beat) The fact is… there’s a problem with the ring.

Lahl’s eyebrows once again reached her hairline as their original contact seemed to suddenly appear in front of them. She then heard Richards speak.

Richards: We were attempting to be discreet.

Tr’ac’i 42: I assume that you have not once again forgotten our arranged time?

Lahl: No, we have not.

Herrick:  Response?

Tr’ac’i 42: That should allow you ample time to prepare. Do you have any questions?

Lahl: Well, for one, I’m curious what the problem with the Dyson Ring, and how can we help?

Tr’ac’i 42: It is not the appointed time for that information to be given.

Herrick:  Response?

Lahl: Lieutenant Herrick is correct, we can start formulating a plan if you tell us what’s happening.

Kimonzi frowned as Tr’ac’i 42 waved their arms in a seeming dismissive gesture.

Tr’ac’i 42: That is not how we work here.

Herrick/Richards: Response

Lahl: ::rolling her eyes:: Very well. If you’re going to be cryptic, can I ask if I can keep that robe over there? It seems like it was made specifically for me.

The alien gave the young ensign a look that told her that it should have been obvious that the robes were meant to be kept. Kimonzi just shrugged in response, she hadn’t stayed in that many hotels, and many of Lahl’s lifetimes weren’t exactly swimming in luxury either.

Lahl: Just making sure.

Herrick/Richards: Response

Tr’ac’i 42: Any other questions?

Herrick/Richards: Response
