The eldritch horrors of the last mission thankfully felt further and further away, his dreams now calm again. No longer was he a witness to his own death; his dreams were now his and his alone again. He had only been back in the Gamma Quadrant for a few days, after he had helped set up the FDC's newest embassy on Idrustix. His personal life, however, hadn't found as much peace, but at least he and Toxin were fully healed and back to being bros again, and his relationship with Eli was...
Rouiancet: Sorry. My mind wandered. (beat) As I was saying, I want to wish the departing Thor officers and crew the best from all of us staying on Butler. I want to especially recognize Commander Trake Promontory, the Thor's new commanding officer; Lieutenant Commander Josh Herrick, the Thor's new executive officer; Lieutenant Morro Caras, the Thor's new chief engineering officer, and...
Lhandon's mind wandered too. It sucked to say goodbye, as Eli was going to the Thor. He loved Eli, he loved spending time with him. However, it was not the time for moping. Today was the day he was to be revealed in his new... additional role.
Rouiancet: Lieutenant Commander Sevantha Saa, who will not only be the *Thor'*s new counselor and head of health, but also its new second officer. Please, join me in congratulating Commander Saa on her promotion, and all these officers on their new, deserved positions.
He had been so happy for Saa. She'd been the best support for him, from his seizures to his recent dreams and just all around being there for him when he needed support with his mental health. Her departure from the OEB would be a loss to his ship and a huge boon to the Thor. She more than deserved the role of second officer.

Rouiancet: You'll also no doubt have noticed that I'm joined by Lieutenant Commanders Arlill and Nilsen up here, and that Commander Arlill is also wearing an entirely new uniform color. I hope you'll join me again in a round of applause for the new members of the Butler's command team, executive officer Toxin Arlill and second officer Lhandon Nilsen.
Rouiancet had introduced Lhandon as the new second officer, filling the shoes of Herrick, someone Lhandon had respected more and more with each passing day. Perhaps Lhandon might have been a little shy to admit that when he was an ensign, there had been just a little crush on the now first officer of the Thor. But they were both older now... just a little bit, and Herrick seemed even older, like he'd lived a whole other life. Lhandon had felt himself mature too; Amity had helped with that, and he'd been back for a few days, the visit cut short so he could ascend to his new role.
Arlill: Thank you sir, it’s an honor.
He smiled and looked to Toxin. Lhandon couldn't help but feel a certain sense of joy and excitement for the role. He was still the senior diplomatic officer, but now he was continuing his meteoric rise up the ranks... and to make it even sweeter, he was doing it with Toxin, his big brother from another mother, his broroomie. His heart swelled with joy and pride, and he had to hold himself back from giving Tox the biggest bear hug ever.
Nilsen: Thank you, sir. We will give you our best. And we'd like to extend a warm welcome to Commander Riley and Ensigns JoNz, Tarnas, and Varik.
Then Rouiancet accepted an award box from Lohkina, who had just transferred to his diplomatic department.
Rouiancet: All officers and crew who participated in the previous mission are now receiving the Explorer's Ribbon, or the appropriate star for repeated citations. Before I, and the new command team, descend upon to award additional ribbons and promotions, I hope you'll allow me to recognize these two fine officers publicly -- with, for Commander Nilsen, the Innovation Ribbon -- for Commander Arlill, the Distinguished Service Ribbon and the Captain's Commendation -- and, for both, the Leadership Excellence Ribbon. Each and every member of this crew who has served directly with these fine officers will know that these ribbons are deserved, not only for dealing with the chaos of the previous mission, but for the long histories of leadership and exemplary service that allowed my new command team colleagues to be in positions where their authority and experience was able to do the most good. One more round of applause, please!
Toxin stood at attention, and Lhandon smiled; his shoulders came back, and his back went a little straighter. He quietly said a personal thank you to Rouiancet as he pinned the ribbons on his uniform. His Leadership Excellence Ribbon gained a second star, the prior one coming from Peri, and the original coming from Herrick. The Innovation Ribbon gained its first star with Rouiancet, who also gave him his original Innovation Ribbon. The Explorer's Ribbon that everyone got was a nice new one to add to his rack.
Rouiancet: Now! We'll be roving amongst you, handing out ribbons and pips, but don't let us interrupt your drinks and dinners to too great a degree. Enjoy!
