Halloway: ::Leaning over to Loq:: What should we do now, sir?

Loq: I believe we have made as much progress as we are going to today. Perhaps we should rejoin Lt. Nilsen's group and see what progress they have made.

Clara gave a nod. She had wondered how things were going with him, hopefully with less bickering than here. The two Chey’d had been difficult at first, whatever the tension between Prelate Rolo’Illini and Achi’Trinot had hindered their talks slightly. She would have to keep an eye on them to keep them from now on, to make sure they don’t come to blows, maybe sitting them on either side of the table would be beneficial.  

Illini: This one would appreciate if that one did stay in contact. It would be good for this one as well as that one. 

Trinot: ::motioning to the room:: Those ones can wait; this one wants to ask something more discretely before there’s any more talk.

She followed Loq and the others out of the conference room, maybe once they wrapped up things for now. Clara could nip to the bar or arcade to relax for a bit; she still needed to proofread Alex’s novel at some point, but she could do it before bed.
