((The Big Bubble, Sivantis, Seytoxal))
Morro Caras would have to thank the transport chief for their discretion on this transport. He moved through the crowd looking for her. Where could she be in all of this? This place was much busier than the other resort he had just been to. There were multiple parties and crowds here, not just the Starfleet medical group. He then tried something he hadn’t done in awhile, or maybe something he’d never done?
He thought hard.
Caras: oO HELLO Oo
No response. He ran through the resort. Screaming at the top of his lungs? No. Thinking at the top of his mind? He searched high and low and eventually wandered into a large secluded area. Was he supposed to be back here? The views were amazing. Well one thing for sure, she wasn’t here, but a lot of sea creatures were. The stared at him through the transparent barrier holding them back. He noted its location.
Caras: oO HELLO SEVANTHA?Oo
Tonight, she’d chosen to go light on her drinks. Sugar shots at best in polite company, though they’d take her tropical drink umbrellas over her dead body. After parties were always enjoyable to attend, but she’d slowly found herself moving to the position of wallflower to observe and experience everyone’s happiness at a distance. Voices and thought mingled together, both drowned by the music currently playing…
That was until Morro Caras’s thoughts cut through all sounds.
Saa: ~Morro?~
What was he doing here? Surely the engineers were celebrating all together somewhere.
Caras: oOWHERE ARE YOU?Oo
Morro couldn’t sense Sevantha through the link, she was the psychic one not him, but he picked a direction she thought she was in and sprinted in that direction.
Saa: ~ I’m over by the aquabar~
Morro looked over where he was… no aquabar
Caras: oO Oh where is that? OO
That was back the direction he had come, so he sprinted that direction.
Saa: ~ If you’re at the entrance, it’s through the Seastar lightshow.~
Caras had already forgotten where that was, and this place was so big and crowded.
Caras: oO To be very honest everything here is very pretty, but it makes thing impossible to find Oo
Saa: ~ Hold on…~
Morro Stopped in place as she said so.
Taking her sugar shot, she tossed it back before tucking the umbrella in her loose waves of hair. Much like in the sea, she was out of sight and thus imperceivable to Morro’s senses, but all too easily she followed the link until she saw the Morro Caras standing there, still in uniform, looking for her.
He was leaning over panting a little. They exchanged looks for a second.
Saa: Morro?
Her voice would be drowned out by the music, yet she had only switched in concern he was humoring her only to find her location.
Caras: oO No it’s fine, this is better. Oo
Surprise touched her features as he moved back to thoughts, then came confusion.
Saa: ~Alright, then… What are you doing here? I thought the Engineers would be celebrating together. ~
Caras: oO We were, I mean I was. I mean they are Oo
He was out of breath, but the way it manifested in his mind was strange, it made him a little scatterbrained as he attempted to pull himself together. He had probably had run a good mile trying to find her. This place was gigantic.
Saa: ~ You… left them, to find me?~
He’d been thinking so loud, and he’d been clearly running around for a while. Maybe something was wrong?
Caras: oO Yeah I just…. I came to apologize…. Oo
He was still out of breath and his thoughts came slow. She did look great tonight, but she always did to him. How could he ignore it for so long? Had he been? She had been the whole time. He thought back to that first night. She was cute that night but she was sad. When she was happy, she was beautiful. He liked to be the reason she was happy. He could sense that from her.
Those thoughts were clear in his mind as he spoke to her.
Saa: ~Apologize? Morro…~
Spinning around, Sevantha faced him fully now, letting the party drown out.
Saa: ~You don’t need to apologize~
Caras: oO I do. I’ve been hiding from you and ignoring you when I should have been talking with you. Oo
He took her by the hand.
Sevantha practically froze at the willing contact he made with her.
Caras: oO Can we… get away from these people. Follow me, I saw a good place. Oo
Usually Morro liked crowds, but this was too much, and just wasn’t conducive to a talk with Sevantha.
He led her away from the crowd and into the area he had ran to before. Crystal clear arches, a dome that looked up at the water with a magnificent view. There were several large sea creatures above, casting shadows from the dome.
There was so much she wanted to say or think but held herself back to avoid overwhelming their bond. Underneath the dome, she went quiet, marveling at the view and the silence that came with the water.
Saa: ~ I should have come to this spot earlier, hopefully, we have another chance to revisit the planet. Any entire city under the ocean. ~
Caras: oO I think it really suits us. I really rather enjoy this kind of place.Oo
Her head tilted a little at his choice of words.
Saa: ~ Us?~
Caras: oO We should talk for a while, like this. I’ve made… some choices, but I need to know how you feel about them Oo
Her heart fluttered a little as she stared at him, before looking down at her feet shyly before looking back up at him.
Saa: ~ I can think of no better place for a heart to heart.~
And so they talked into the night.
