((8 Forward, The Writer’s Room, U.S.S. Octavia E. Butler))
Lahl: Ah, I actually didn’t want to be joined until after I started at the Academy. ::still scratching her spots a bit:: But while I was there I realized that I had the qualifications thanks to my delayed start at the Academy, and my academic accomplishments. I was lucky to get my symbiont within two years.
Salo: I think that’s a testament to your intelligence and capability.
Lahl: Well, there’s at least one testament to that.
Salo: I wouldn’t underestimate yourself.
Kimonzi thought about that for a little bit before responding. She did seem to be down on herself for a little bit. Apparently the mission on the Dow was affecting her more than she let on.
Lahl: Thank you.
Salo: So tell me about Kimonzi. What sort of things do you enjoy?
As she opened her mouth, Kimonzi realized that she had to take a minute to think about that. She really hadn’t had anyone ask her what “Kimonzi” liked since she met back up with Jennifer at the Academy after her sabbatical. She also had to think about what “she” enjoyed. With five other lives, it was hard to tell what were her likes and dislikes, and what were Lahl’s. As evidenced by her newly acquired taste for Romulan Ale in the past year.
Lahl: Well, I enjoy holodeck novels set in the “Regency Era” in England on Earth. Learned that from an ex girlfriend at the Academy. ::a fond look crossed her face:: I always like getting time on the Parrises Squares grid.
Salo: Response
Lahl: I’m also really fond of spending time on the beach in the sun, both on real planets and on the Holodeck.
She thought a little bit more, usually uncomfortable when talking about herself…or “her selves”
Lahl: What about you? What do you like to do Nesre?
Salo: Response
Lahl: Oh really? You know, two lives ago I was a famous dancer back on Trill. She was a lot of fun. ::smiling at the memories of Kehda::
Salo: Response
