OOC: Sorry guys, the mess with the host and then the craziness of the days that have followed has scrambled my brain. This is not the greatest response to an awards post, but I didn’t want to just not respond. Congratulations to all of you, well deserved, I just love this ship - and her crew! <3

Awards were under way, and Peri had come to mainly watch as other people received accolades they so richly deserved. From where she stood, she watched as officer after officer was called up and recognised by their Commanding Officer. After each name, each award, she clapped, truly grateful that she had the opportunity to serve with all of them. In her mind, she got to be a part of the finest crew in Starfleet. She couldn’t help but be particular proud when one of those officers was one of her own, and the hesitate, if sincere smile, blossomed a little more brightly after that announcement. Somehow, Yinn was still managing two bodies, and dealing with the strange merging of two minds.
Yet, she couldn’t deny that Yinn wasn’t the only one who deserved recognition. As each name was called, Peri’s eyes fell across the one to whom it belonged. All of them were fellow officers, all of them had contributed to the successes in their missions. Even if those missions didn’t necessarily turn out as planned, each and every officer knew that they could count on each and every other officer on that ship. Each and every officer would willingly sacrifice their own life for each and every other officer on that vessel. And each and every officer rejoiced in the accolades of each and every other office in that room.
Smiling, Peri’s applause joined that of the others. Her eyes fell upon Herrick and Maxwell, then moved along to Nilsen and Stendhal. Caras received a moment of consideration, followed by Lahl and Richards. Arlill stood off on the other side, and she couldn’t help but note Nis and Toz as well. Finally, she faced forward, her eyes settling upon Commander…no, Captain…Rouiacnet, and Promontory. Another smile appeared, this one a bit bigger and brighter, and from where she stood in the back of the room, her applause grew just a bit louder as she considered just how blessed she really was.
