OOC: It seems I have more time to myself when visiting family. Wheeeee
((USS Octavia E Butler - Sickbay deck 5))
Toz: Jack, for someone who’s been in prison, you’re in very good shape. It leads me to think there’s a hidden agenda here.
Kessler: Doc…the Zet seemed very intent on proper health care. But just playing the safe side, you didn’t see anything out of the ordinary right?
Toz: I’m not picking up anything that shouldn’t be here. Do you think there may be a tracker on you?
Kessler: Just making sure. I woke up in their infirmary a couple of times after being stunned during my escape attempts. Just making sure they are not tracking me or something weird like that.
Toz: You escaped. Unless they wanted you to, they would have the time or inclination to place a tracker on you.
Kessler: Maybe I am just being a little over paranoid too. Don’t want to miss anything.
Toz: We’re not missing anything. Now, go. Get your clearances and get back to work.
Jack, smiling, slid off the biobed and looked back over the sickbay before locking eyes with Toz.
Kessler: Thank you Doc. I’ll tell V’Len but (leaning in and lowering his voice) I won’t tell him how well you have everything under control without him.
Toz almost laughed out loud when Jack offered a wink and a grin to the Klingon/Human hybrid. Just as he’d come in, he almost floated towards the entry leading to reception and then turned on his heels. It made Toz’s emotions lift to see him back again and she didn’t mind that he knew it.
