((I-Dorf Kiyoria, I-Kiyo Dyson Ring))

As the transport arrived outside of their destination the group stepped out to a remarkable view. Small individual waterfalls of ruby poured down the side of the building were glinting and sparkling, the extravagance appealed to both luxury and natural order.

Anton wondered how long it would have taken them to create such a spectacular creation.

He watched as the transport slid away just as it had when it picked them up.

Lahl: They weren’t kidding were they, Lieutenant Herrick?

Herrick: They were not, this place is dripping in opulence.

Anton agreed. He raised his eyebrows.

Richards: It’s… incredible.

The hotel was busy, various guests and others that were presumably staff dressed in a white silk and floral crowns, bustled in and out of the shimmering barrier that constituted an entrance to the giant building.

The group passed through the barrier themselves and unsurprisingly the extravegency of the outside was not lost on the interior of the building. They approached the desk and Anton noted once again that there wasn't a communication barrier between themselves and the staff.

Lahl: Hello, we’re with the Starfleet team assisting with the Department of Public Works? ::She hoped that the person at the front desk would be able to understand them::

Za’ch’ar’y 96: Let me see here…::the young I-Kiyoan tapped on his console:: What name would that be under?

Lahl: I believe that would be under your name sir, no?

While the pair went through the check-in process Anton stood by patiently.

Herrick: Quite right, I’m Lieutenant Josh Herrick, from the USS Octavia E Butler.

Za’ch’ar’y 96: Response

Anton raised his eyebrows at the attendants comment

Richards: ::smirking:: Oh?

Lahl: Response

Za’ch’ar’y 96: Response

Ignoring the implications of how they retrieved the information. Anton breathed a quick sigh of relief as the attendant seemed to already have his on file. He had been hoping that issue would solve itself.

Herrick: And… we each get our own beds? oO We’re not here to consummate anything… Oo

Za’ch’ar’y 96: Response

In order to make sure that he had heard correctly, Anton turned towards Herrick, who appeared to be as shocked as he was.

Herrick: The whole floor?!?

Richards: That’s what I thought I heard.

Lahl: Response

With their identities confirmed the group continued towards the elevator that would be taking them up to their… floor. Anton stood in silence and patiently awaited the “catch” that would most definitely be accompanied with the seemingly unending luxury.

When the doors to the… floor - opened up Anton was greeted with even more luxury. The sounds of water trickling down and making contact with the leaves of the plants beneath. A deep inhale rewarded him with the pleasant smell of a full garden in bloom and while this would normally result in Anton having a sneezing fit. These particular flora didn’t seem to affect his allergies.

Herrick: I don’t think the president would get this type of treatment. I wonder what they expect of us.

Anton agreed and was about to boast his concerns about the entire matter to the pair but his concerns were confirmed before he had gotten the chance.

Tr’ac’i 42: You would do well learning how to be discreet in public. You were gathering too much attention. Strangers at the public works department, aliens no less. (beat) The fact is… there’s a problem with the ring.

A problem with the ring explained the elevated status and treatment that they had been receiving. It would make sense that they would want Starfleet Engineers involved, they had the reputation of being highly capable.

Richards: We were attempting to be discreet.

Tr’ac’i 42 turned towards Anton and instead of gratifying him with a response, directed him to a change of clothes that had already been hung up for him.

Anton knew he should be offended at this moment, but instead returned a smile and raised both arms in a non-agressive “you get what you get” fashion and Tr’ac’i 42 turned back towards Herrick.

Tr’ac’i 42: I assume that you have not once again forgotten our arranged time?

Herrick/Lahl:  Response?

Tr’ac’i 42: That should allow you ample time to prepare. Do you have any questions?

Herrick/Lahl:  Response?
