(( Just Outside Regina Docking Corridor, Deep Space 14 ))

Nadia was enjoying her tour of DS14 with Lieutenant Commander Zimedia Nijal, using the station skylink to see all the locations. It was not what she expected when arriving at her new assignment, but it gave her a chance to make some new friends. She had asked about somewhere to get a drink or a snack, feeling in the mood for a milkshake.

N.Forsyth: Ooh, that sounds great.

Nijal: Great, then we'll ride for another few minutes.

Nadia nodded as she continued to observe their passage through the Main Arboretum. She was really impressed; they managed to build such a large, beautiful garden on a space station, and it reminded her of those old Wtachtower-class starbases of the 2260s, which were said to have a terrestrial enclosure inside their upper level.

Nijal: Just tell me one thing: Does it matter if the milk is shaking?

N.Forsyth: Huh, Oh. No, it's a type of cold drink mixed with milk, ice cream and other flavours.

She had to remember that even though Earth had been part of the galactic community for more than four centuries by that point. It did not mean that everything about her place of origin was known by every race in the galaxy, including what a Milkshake was.

Nijal: Oh, I see! Yes, I'm pretty sure the place I'm thinking of has that, or something like it.

Nadia smiled at the thought of introducing Nijal to milkshake, wondering what her reaction would be.

N.Forsyth: If they don’t, then I’ll take sweet tea as a backup.

Nijal: (with a laugh) Well, we can do tea, if nothing else. Look, we're about to pass up into the transition zone!

The Skylink begins its spiral ascent upwards out of the Main Arboretum, passing a very dark part of the station until reaching what seemed to be solar sails.

N.Forsyth: Whoa, are those solar sails, yes?

Nijal: Response

N.Forsyth: They’re so pretty, especially the way the gold shines in the light.

Nadia had read about Bajoran early starships and their use of solar sails. She saw a replica of one that the Emissary himself had built and flown as a little kid during a brief family trip to Bajor.

Nijal: Response
