((Writer’s Room, USS OEB))
A lot of people came through the writer’s room. With a crew of six hundred, people came and went, he saw the representation of the Butler, and heard a lot of stories. Since the last mission, those stories had included things they’d seen, but hadn’t been real. Even he had been affected by the hallucinations, though from what he’d heard, not nearly as badly as others.
Koryan: After that last mission, I imagine some time to relax will benefit everyone.
Even Koryan had been shaken by what he’d seen, though he’d sait not a word to anyone. That he would keep all to himself.
Yinn: Of course, it's usually the hu-mons throwing parties on this ship, and they have some strange ideas.
Maxwell: As one ae those humans, I can confirm we do have some strange ideas for parties.
Loq’Yinn wasted little time and downed the last drink with hardly a blink. Setting down the glass, he made a demand.
Yinn: Enough of this foolishness. Blood wine.
Maxwell: Good call, but I think I'll be finishing this first.
Nodding, the Kazleti eyed the body for a minute. He had to watch carefully to ensure there was no drunkenness. With the strength of blood wine, he was going to have to make a call.
Koryan: You got it.
Yinn: Sometimes a freshwater fish needs to swim back to the river.
Koryan: And I get that.
Koryan would give him one last drink with alcohol, and anything after that would be virgin. However, his mixologist skills were good enough that no one ever noticed - unless they were trying to get drunk and realised they weren’t accomplishing their goal.
Maxwell: Sounds like you're plotting something?
Koryan: If that’s so, I’m curious as to what river this fish will be swimming to.
Yinn: Response
A predatory grin spread across Maxwell’s face, evidently happy to oblige.
Maxwell: Pretty sure that can be arranged.
Yinn: Response
Koryan’s eyebrows darted upward and he glanced between the two in front of them.
Koryan: What sort of shenanigans do you think you two will get into?
He chuckled softly, certain that they wouldn’t do anything terrible, but a few bits of fun here and there were necessary for the morale of the crew.
Maxwell/Yinn: Response
Koryan: Sounds like you have the beginnings of an idea. Consider holding a party of your own? Maybe the way you want one to be thrown?
He wasn’t sure what that would entail, but he was curious. Actually, it wasn’t a bad idea, and a party was likely what they all needed. Maybe he’d suggest it to Rouiancet, have something special in the Writer’s lounge. He could concoct some special drinks as well.
Maxwell/Yinn: Response
Koryan: Maybe you two have inspired me.
He grinned himself that time, but he would say no more about anything that percolated in his brain.
Maxwell/Yinn: Response
