((A Bar with a name they are yet to understand, Port City of I’shal, I-Kiyo Dyson Ring ))

Es’th’o knew his consortium was larger than Russo’s and he knew they could beat them on price any day, but then he wondered how a relationship with such an organization might benefit his consortium in the long run. Ships were hard to come by, at least new ships, since the dominion left and they seemed like they were willing to barter.

T’Larn: Oh goodie, a bidding war.

St’Amin:

St'Amin: 'Kl'ath mo'rek perhaps Xz'noth vr'tix each other? Qe'lam worth Tr'nak zh'vol? Fy'rath be your Ne'klar?' (( ooc: Maybe we can help each other out? Would that be worth your while? ))

Toxin couldn’t be sure, but he thinks he’s getting some of what their first host is saying, sounded like they were trying to make an offer, he looked towards T’larn.

Arlill: Are you getting more of the translation?

T’larn: Oh they are so cheeky

Anyone who was paying attention could see that Es’th’o was visibly annoyed by their new arrivals.

Toxin's initial curiosity about whether the new arrivals—small, rat-like beings—were there for entertainment or trade was quickly answered as the creatures began unloading goods onto their table.

T’Larn: We must, oh my goodness!

St’Amin: T’h’ee h’e’v no int’r’st in h’el’p ‘U.

Henri: oO Well that was a lot clearer! Oo

Stendhal: Am I seeing things, or did you see that too?

T’Larn: Your eyes do not deceive you. ::To the Rat Pack:: You folks are just adorable.

Es’th’o understood the pointy alient that time, well except for the ‘adorable’ word, his translator was still working on that one.

St’Amin: Uon’Lik’ly

Rutto: Response

T’Larn: Well when in rome as the humans say. It would be rude not to after that wonderful display.

Toxin was concerned their original mission was getting away from him and he had to pull them back, but he didn’t want to take away from their enjoyment. Henri must have become a mind reader because no sooner did he say…

Henri: oO So much for finding one trader. Oo

St’Amin/Rutto: Response

T'Larn: Now, gentlepeople, I see you both wish to do business with us. However, we're unsure exactly what you have to offer and what we can give in exchange. Why don't you, one at a time, explain what you're specifically offering—be they goods or services? Then Lt. Arlill and Lt. Stendhal can assess what we might offer in return.

Toxin: A great idea T’Larn, thanks. (beat) ::to the tall alien:: Do you have any of these materials ::handing him a PADD::

There were only a few things that Es’th’o could read on the device the blue alien handed him, but based on the ones he could make out, it looked like the rest might be a list of materials. oO Is this blue alien offering or requesting materials? Oo

St’Amin: M’a’k’in se’n’s’e t’a me’sa. (( ooc: Ha! I made you all read that line in the voice of one of the most hated SW characters! ))

Rutto: Response

T’Larn: Delightful. St’Amin We shall begin with you.

St’Amin: M’e c’srt’iu’m can take t’h’e’s’ in’ x’ch’an’ge.

T’Larn: Lt Arlil, Lt Stendhal, what say you?

Arlill: We would be looking to acquire these items to support our fleet.

Es'th'o looked down at his tablet and saw the translations were at 95% accurate, which made him feel allot better about negotiating with these aliens.

St'Amin: 'Kl'an shoo'd b no pro'b'l'm

Stendhal: Response

T'Larn: And Russo, what do you have to offer?

Russo: Response

T'Larn: Once again, Lt Arlil, Lt Stendhal, what say you?

Arlill: We are pleased with St’Amin’s offer. Can we discuss terms?

Toxin noticed Russo's visible annoyance at this turn of events. He briefly considered whether bringing Lhandon, who had a knack for diplomacy, might have been beneficial. However, a surge of anger quickly pushed that thought aside, and Toxin reassured himself that he could handle this situation without that backstabber's help.

Henri: Response

St'Amin: C'rt'nly! L't's t'lk 'bout th' sp'cif'cs.

Arlill/Stendhal: Response
