The Security Department had been pretty busy lately, and to top it all off, they were still shorthanded. Anton had heard that a group of new security personnel was expected to arrive any day now, but the arrival had already been delayed twice. Even though everything was on track for a sooner rather than later arrival, he still had his doubts.
Nevertheless he had spent most of his remaining shoreleave time in the ships Security Holosuite attempting to design a training program for the new arrivals.
It featured a holographic projection of himself as the trainer and Anton was attempting to work out the kinks as we speak.
Richards: ::angrily:: Could you make it stop nodding all the time?
Computer: You requested that the program replicate your own manneri…
Anton muted the computer and walked away in frustration.
Soon after he received a notification that Rouiancet wished to see him on the Bridge. He nodded and headed there directly.

When Anton arrived he immediately noticed something was off. Rouiancet waved him over and as he approached he noticed that she was occupying the chair opposite of normal.
Rouiancet: Thanks for coming, Anton. Want to have a seat?
Anton observed a brief smirk from Rouiancet and shook his head as he considered the symbolism that might be associated with such an action. No matter, that was her chair and Anton had only been briefly borrowing it during the last mission.
Richards: I can stand, Sir.
Rouiancet shrugged and Anton thought that the empty chair might be an indication of what could have happened if he had ended up killing her during their transport stunt last mission. Anton avoided looking at the chair for the time being.
Rouiancet: It was your first time commanding a starship, wasn't it? I just wanted to see how you felt about it all.
Anton paused for a moment to think about how he was going to answer this question. The experience had after all been in the back of his mind.
Richards: It was…
Anton swallowed hard as he considered and reconsidered his answer.
Rouiancet: (with a smile) I promise there's no wrong answers. I'm curious about your experience. How did it feel?
Richards: It was different than I had expected.
This answer was an honest one although Anton didn’t exactly have a clear picture of what his expectations were.
Rouiancet: Response
Richards: Well. ::beat:: I’d say it was quite hectic. You know I put in my report that we weren’t trying to beam you up Sir.
Anton glanced towards the chair once more. Had he broken it somehow?
Rouiancet: Response
