Maxwell: Depends on the location we make use of.

Nis: Response

O'Reilly: Either way, we need to handle this a bit more gently. The last thing we want is to create more tension in the crew. (beat) and that’s coming from a marine ::looking over at Maxwell::

Caras: I’m with O’Reilly on this one. The smart choice is almost never violence::laughing nervously:: but you’d never actually put your hands on another officer right?

Nilsen: No, I wouldn’t dream of it.

Caras sighed a brief sigh of relief but only for a moment. He was certain Lhandon wouldn’t. He still didn’t understand why everyone was freaking out. The most Caras could see Lhandon would be

Caras: I’m new to the ship and I just want to make sure that everyone gets along, but at the end of the day it’s my business because you’re my friend Lhando. Professionally I don’t have a stake in it, but that isn’t what this is about.

Nilsen: I appreciate that mate. I..erm

Morro did the thing Lhandon always did to him as what he assumed was a gesture of affection and put his arm around his shoulder.

Maxwell: “Erm”? Sup lad, Nessie got your tongue?

Nis: Response

Caras: Look we’re all here for you man. Look around, the four of us see that you’re in pain and we’re all here to help you in the ways that you need.

Nilsen: ::nodding slowly:: I appreciate that, all of you. I... I.

Caras: Have some faith that we can help right this wrong for you. Please.

Nilsen: I…I do…I…

Maxwell: But there's something else, aye?

O'Reilly: Spit it out already Nilsen, (beat) You Nilsens always like to beat around the bush, pull it out by it’s roots, show it to us, come on tell us! ::smiling at Lhandon::

Nis: Response

Nilsen: Yeah…you folks are right.

Maxwell: Of course we're right. We're no the ones battering a punch bag in the gym.

Caras nodded at that. Lhandon definitely had some thing to work out when it came to Toxin, but he didn’t need to to it alone, and this wasn’t the only way to do it.

O'Reilly: Not that you were doing much to it anyway ::smirking and winking::

It took a moment for Caras to realize O’Reilly was joking. At first he thought it was just whatever the marines thought was the level of punishment they could take, and for a moment he believed it.

Caras: Good. And awhile that was a workout for you emotionally and physically, I’m ready to get out of here and clear the air.

Despite that they had all only been here for a short amount of time, it seemed like a good idea to leave the emotional exhaust expelled here to dissipate. Plus Caras hadn’t eaten all day.

Nis: Response

Nilsen: So…erm…we doing this?…and do you want food ::first tentative smile:: cos I’m hungry, and ::beat:: I ain’t cooked for two ::nodding to Caras and Nis::.

Caras nodded to Nilsen enthusiastically.

Nilsen: Even you O'Reilly. I can’t hate ya.

Maxwell: Plan made. Your place, and you're cooking. ::He gave Nilsen a dig in the arm.:: Gonnae go check on the kids, and I'll meet you there.

O'Reilly: Same (beat) well not check on kids, but I’ll meet you there!

Caras: Looking forward to whatever it is you make.

Nis: Response (optional)
