It had been a long and exhausting day for Miash. Dr. Toz was away and had left her little notice. She had been managing day-to-day operations, nurse education, procedure scheduling, inventory, and general sickbay management. These were tasks she was used to, having previously worked at a small station on Relva VII. Although there were doctors there, they rarely showed up for severe cases, preferring to play their Kod-log game, similar to Earth's golf. Miash, having never played either, didn't particularly care to figure it out.
Miash: =/\= Computer, lock the door, set the lights to 50% and replicate a bowl of tube grubs, slightly warmed. =/\=

Miash: =/\= The tube grubs will do me just fine. =/\=
Computer: =/\= Confirmed, replicating. =/\=
The lights dimmed and the door’s lock audibly clicked. Miash didn’t care much for the AI computer, not yet, it hadn’t done anything to really impress her and, in her opinion, was a bit nosy. She liked her privacy.
Miash: =/\= Computer, deactivate yourself in these quarters for 2 hours. =/\=
Computer: =/\= Unfortunately it’s not possible to…=/\=
Miash: =/\= Please computer? I need a break. =/\=
Computer: =/\= Confirmed, I will check in on you in 2 hours. =/\=
Miash: =/\= Don’t wait up. =/\=
There was no response, just a dim silence. Miash picked up a nearby PADD and activated a Klingon Opera. The deep intonations and the reverberation of the La’Tikak, a Klingon instrument, were superb. Miash leaned her head back against the chair’s headrest and closed her eyes, she just listened to her breath for a few moments. She then took a very deep breath and let out a long sigh and picked her PADD back up. Pressing a few keys here medical anatomy book came up to the chapter she had left off on.
She found so little time for herself that when she did find a moment to relax it was in the study vocation preparing herself for the entrance exams.
