1LT Arturo Maxwell - Farewell, but not Goodbye.

Max had just gotten back to his quarters, finding Milly fast asleep on the sofa with Nessie cuddled up under one arm and Haggis stretched across her legs. Noting the time and darting into his room, Max was back out of the door in moments. As the door hissed closed behind him, a little ginger head lifted up for a moment before resettling.

Haggis: Maow...?

Riding the lifts and jogging the corridors, Max arrived at his destination amongst a small gathering of other officers who had come together to bid farewell to Commander Iljor.

Etan: This is quite something, Captain.

Rouiancet: Response.

Sherlock: You know you're going to do great.

Nodding at Sherlock as he stepped forwards, Max put out his hand to Etan.

Maxwell: That he is.

Any: Response.

Etan/Rouiancet: response

Sherlock: I just wanted to come by to say ::beat:: well, I don't want to say goodbye, because I'm sure we'll see each other again. But...

Etan: response

Sherlock: I'm just ::beat:: really proud of you. And ::long pause:: I'm gon miss ya.

Max raised a subtle eyebrow as Sherlock's accent began to thicken. Was the nails security officer getting a bit emotional?

Etan/Rouiancet/Any: response

Maxwell: Aye, it's a shame we didnae serve longer taegether but its been grand. Milly's going tae miss you as well, no that she'd ever admit tae it in public.

Etan/Rouinacet/Etan/Any: response

Holding out his other hand, Max offered the small object that he'd been home to collect.

It was a thin rectangular block of plexi, with a photograph encased inside it. The photograph was of a laughing Max and Etan mid-conversation in the Writers Room, a table laden with cheesecakes and other snacks between the seated men. Max had no idea who had taken the image, but had found it in the social images file a few nights ago.

Maxwell: Bit ae something tae stick in your new quarters.
