After briefing her team and gathering what we needed for our mission ahead, they were underway to Toldius 3. Alex sat in the co-pilot seat beside Ensign Taylor and was nervously fidgeting with her hair. She still had not gotten fully over her discomfort with shuttles, but was trying to push that aside for the mission and to give a good impression to her team.
Forsyth: Ensign Taylor, what is our eta?
Taylor: Response
Forsyth: Right, cool…:: Turning to where Sh'shelor and Shyvo were. :: Lieutenant, what do we know about Tolduis 3 and its people?
Sh'shelor/Shyvo: Response
Alex nodded along, taking in every bit of information she could. She was glad to have Sh'shelor on her mission, having worked with her before. She needed someone with experience to help make the right decisions, or at least keep her on track. Ensign Taylor and Shyvo were new to her, although Clara had mentioned Lhandon's personal assistant.
Forsyth: I see, and what do we know about the factions they are dealing weapons to?
The tactical officer had yet to cross paths with K'ktor, the Consortium, and the UDP. She had heard about the United Dominion of Planets from the crew, but not enough to get an estimate of their capability. The other two factions she knew even less about, although Starfleet knew about the same as them. They were going in blind, which made her a bit nervous about what they could expect upon arrival in the system.
Taylor/Sh'shelor/Shyvo: Response
Forsyth: Right, very well.
Taylor/Sh'shelor/Shyvo: Response
Alex took a deep breath, then prepared herself.
oO Time to put on my captain mask…Oo
Forsyth: Okay, we should be fine as long as we don’t draw any unwanted attention to ourselves.
Taylor/Sh'shelor/Shyvo: Response
Forsyth: Even though we are only to observe them, if there is a small chance we are spotted, then I want to make sure that everyone here is capable of handling whatever situation comes our way.
