(( USS Sower, Runabout, A few Light Years from Deep Space 14 ))
Stendhal: I have an experience, from when I'm aboard. When I first stepped in my new office the computer generated some sort of holographic assistant. The Holographic Counselor Assistant (Ho.C.A.).
Arlill: Only you get to turn the H-O-C-A off when he’s not needed, I don’t have that option.
Stendhal: Ugh, that H.O.C.A.? Yeah, it's a real pain. Like, the thing is always on, popping up at the worst possible times. And half the time, it ignores me when I tell it to shut down!
Karen groaned, remembering that time she woke up to find H.O.C.A. by her bed. Apparently, the ever-helpful hologram decided she needed some "cuddling time" since she was "always alone."
oO Henri: Hey be nice, you know I’m here always. Oo
Arlill: Ignoring the comment:: No, I’m used to Henri’s presence, it’s almost reassuring (beat) at times.
oO Henri: Aww you loves me, you really loves me. Oo ((ooc: Let’s see if anyone gets the reference.))
Stendhal: Apparently he loves you, very much indeed!
Arlill: If you mean love by incessant presence, then yes. :: starting to laugh out loud ::
oO Henri: :: staring to laugh ::
Karen joined their laughter, but with an awkward splutter of "haha!"
Stendhal: Love is love! ...I guess even super-attached things qualify?
Arlill: But in all honesty? I (beat) SHOOT! Watch out. ::quickly punching commands into the navigational controls::
A bloody asteroid decided to be in their way!
Arlill: Might be time for us to focus on this flight test (beat) Hey Henri, why don’t you watch, in case you need to fly one day.
oO Henri: Was that supposed to be mean? Oo
Arlill: No, I’m serious, we never know what’s going to happen tomorrow.
Stendhal: Sure! Sure! I'm watching indeed! Anyway...
