Miash: Here, drink this, it should help.

The doors to sickbay opened and Miash looked up as Ensign Yinn entered.

Loq: You!

Yinn: So, ah... sorry about last night...

Miash was intrigued, this just went from a interesting medical case to one of the old soaps she liked to watch from ancient Terran, err, Earth.

Yinn: I mean, I had a great time last night! Sorry about this morning! If it makes you feel any better, I'm also in a lot of pain right now.

She picked up the medical tricorder as the Klingon took the liquid from her and targeted the Bolian woman. A quick inventory reviewed four fractured ribs, two torn ligaments, and a number of abrasions both on visible areas of her body and some not visible. The seasoned Ferengi smirked a little as her gaze swept from the ensign to the diplomat lying in her biobed.

Loq: That does make me feel better.

Miash: I would imagine that does… (beat) ::smirking once more:: that will take care of the Bolian beverages you partook in but with regards to other areas of pain ::looking down towards the midsection of the Klingon::

Yinn: I was hoping we could apply some doctor-patient confidentiality to my own intense discomfort. But are you sure it was something he drank and not just, uh... being with me? My body chemistry is an irritant to humans and a lot of other species. I figured Klingons would be less affected, but maybe he's more affected? Am I toxic to Klingons?

Loq: We did lose track of what we were drinking after a certain point.

Miash: I’m not a doctor, but I can respect that ensign.

Yinn: Is there any way to tell? Can you run some tests?

Yinn: But, you know, give him the medicine first.

Loq: I am happy to lie here in agony while you satisfy your curiosity.

Miash: Hey now, I’m beginning to feel like a third wheel dears.

Yinn: Oh, poor you. I thought Klingons were supposed to be all stoic!

Loq: My injuries are not exactly from a glorious battle.

Yinn: I seem to remember you had a few moments of glory last night.

Well that was a first, Miash had heard about the blushing Klingon but not yet witnessed it herself. She pointed the tricorder towards the Klingon’s mid-section.

Miash: It appears there’s some swelling, trying not to smirk, I can give you some ointment but it doesn’t look too serious, although I imagine it’s not a reaction to the beverage in this case.

She couldn’t hold the smirk back and quickly retreated to the replicator once more.

Loq: Response

Yinn: Response ::cut off by Miash::

Miash: Of course I mean apart for tonight at least ::nodding her head towards the ensign:: (beat) besides, you could use some rest, I can fix the torn ligament and abrasions, but the ribs, hundreds of millennia of medical in the Federation databases and ribs are still a literal pain, bed rest is still the best option.

Miash retreated to a nearby medical materials PADD and quickly researched broken ribs. Her training was going along well, but this some things she still wanted to check for herself.

Yinn: Response

Loq: Response

She returned to the couple gathered on and by the biobed.

Miash: I can give you a marrow regeneration treatment, it can be uncomfortable, but it will speed up your healing.

Loq: Response

Miash: ::towards Yinn:: You’re welcome to stay ::starting to walk away and pausing:: (beat) if you both are on your best behavior ::she chuckled a little::
