Una Qualunque often spent her free time in the warehouses used to store materials and spare parts. She frequently chose to do work related to managing these storage rooms, such as compiling or updating inventories.

She loved these dimly lit places where few people wandered, precisely because they allowed her to be alone, to reflect or fantasize about her things. We could say that she practically lived in those storage facilities. Since the OEB was a practically new ship, unfortunately, even those places were new and bright. She had found herself much better off on Base 118 in this regard. There were vast warehouses there, some of which had been forgotten for years with spare parts for obsolete machinery and computers that were no longer used. Where no one, except for some strange individual like her, ever went.

The secondary engineering storage room 002∆ of the USS Octavia E. Butler was perfect for the picnic, a dimly lit, slightly dusty space filled with an assortment of warp core spare parts and various engineering equipment.

The room, often overlooked, had an air of mystery with shadows cast by the stacked crates and boxes. Amidst the organized chaos, a few packages and pellets was neatly arranged, creating an impromptu picnic area.

Una had ingeniously transformed this hidden corner into a cozy gathering spot for the Lower Decks picnic. Loq-Yinn and Kovacs and any petty officers or maximum ensigns was invited to join the fun. The makeshift picnic features an array of beverages, including beer and root beer, alongside a selection of sandwiches and other engineering snacks, perfect for a casual and enjoyable break from their duties.

Una proudly showed her colleagues and fellow misfits the table she'd set up for their little party. A massive, oblong box that had once held the tertiary joint of a warp core purge valve was now adorned with a festive paper tablecloth featuring colorful balloons and a Klingon inscription promising a dramatic and honorable good time...

Qualunque: What do you think? Yeah, maybe it's a bit little, but you never know. Just in case you're really hungry or not very hungry, who knows. There are plenty of bananas anyway...

Mini Sandwiches: Assorted fillings like ham and cheese, turkey and avocado, and veggie delight.

Pizza Squares: Assorted toppings like pepperoni, margherita, and veggie.

Pretzels: Both soft and crunchy varieties.

Chips and Dips: A selection of potato chips, tortilla chips with salsa, guacamole, and cheese dip.

Fruit Platter: Fresh fruits like grapes, apple slices, berries and bananas, lots of bananas.

Cheese and Crackers: Various cheeses paired with an assortment of crackers.

Veggie Sticks: Carrot, celery, and cucumber sticks with ranch dip.

Popcorn: Classic buttered, cheese-flavored, and caramel popcorn.

Cookies: Chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and sugar cookies.

Brownies: Fudgy and delicious.

Nuts and Trail Mix: A mix of almonds, cashews, peanuts, and dried fruits.

Energy Bars: For a quick and tasty boost.

Root Beer Floats: Root beer with scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Beer, Moscato wine and Root Beer: Chilled and ready to enjoy.

Juice Boxes and water : For a non-alcoholic option.

Candy: A variety of chocolates and gummy candies.

Una Qualunque spesso passava il suo tempo libero nei magazzini adibiti allo stoccaggio di materiali e pezzi di ricambio. Spesso sceglieva a lavori legati alla gestione di questi magazzini, come la compilazione o l'aggiornamento degli inventari.

Amava Questi posti semi bui dove pochi bazzicavano, proprio perché le consentivano di rimanere da sola, a riflettere o a fantasticare sulle sue cose. Possiamo dire che praticamente ci viveva in quei depositi. Essendo la OEB una nave praticamente nuova, purtroppo anche quei posti erano nuovi e lucidi. Si era trovata molto meglio sulla base 118 da questo punto di vista. Li si che c'erano Vasti magazeni, alcuni dei quali dimenticati da anni con pezzi di ricambio per macchinari e computer ormai obsoleti e non più utilizzati. Dove nessuno se non qualche strano individuo come lei, mai bazzicava.

Una mostrò con orgoglio ai suoi colleghi e compagni di sventura la tavola imbandita per il loro piccolo party. Una grossa e lunga scatola di un giunto terziario di una valvola per lo spurgo del warp core era adornata con una tovaglia di carta da party con sopra la stampigliatura di palloncini colorati e una scritta in klingon che annunciava qualcosa a proposito di un drammatico e onorevole divertimento... 

Cosa ne pensate? Sì forse è un po' poco, ma non si sa mai. Caso mai aveste molta o poca fame, chissà. Non mancano le banane comunque...
